Objective: This paper analyzes the prevalence and distribution of mental disorders, especially serious mental disorders,in a city in western China, the situation of drug treatment in urban and rural areas and its influencing factors, the correlation between the age of first onset and the age of first treatment, etc.,to provide basic data for the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of severe mental disorders in local communities,to optimize the allocation of local mental health resources, and to provide scientific basis for the development of Mental health policy. Methods: The original data are from the mental health service system of a city in western China from August 2011 to June 2019,registered and managed by the local residents with severe mental disorders SPSS 25.0 analyzed the data, the measurement data were expressed by the mean standard deviation(xs),the count data were expressed by the ratio / ratio, and the intergroup comparison was tested by 2 Tests,P & Lt;0.05 was statistically significant Independent sample t test and binary Logistic regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of drug treatment in urban and rural psychiatric patients, and the test level was 0.05.Power Bi was used to make the visualization chart.Result:1.The sample description of the study subjects1.1 patient profile43.10% of the patients with severe mental disorder were aged 45-59(3356 cases),54.80% of the patients were male(4264 cases),45.20% of the patients were female(3518 cases),and 45.10% of them were married(3511 cases)The patients living in the city(4874)were more than those living in the countryside(2908),accounting for 62.60% and 37.40%,respectively;the patients living in the Han nationality(7577)were the most, accounting for 97.40%,illiterate and semi-illiterate(2179)were the most, accounting for 28.00%,and the patients living in the countryside(3375)were the most, accounting for 43.40%;The majority(5453 cases)were poor, accounting for 70.10%.1.2 patient morbidity and treatmentthere were 6948 patients without two-line and three-generation family history of psychosis, accounting for 89.30%,4459 patients with schizophrenia, accounting for 57.30%,and 2399 patients with less than 10 years of illness, accounting for 30.80% There were more patients(5477 cases)who were treated with drugs, accounting for 70.40%,and the most patients(5834 cases)who were hospitalized 0-1 times, accounting for 75.00%.2.Analysis of the distribution of basic demographic data and its difference with the prevalence of the diseaseThere were significant differences in the distribution of major mental disorders in different age groups(p < 0.05),and there were significant differences in the distribution of basic demographic data and prevalence of major mental disorders among the population aged 18 years and younger, the highest prevalence was among people with intellectual disability, with the highest prevalence of schizophrenia among people over 18 years of age; There were significant differences in the distribution of patients with different mental disorders in different sex, different marital status, different place of residence, different nationality, different educational level, different employment level and different economic status(p < 0.05),but Schizophrenia is the most common.3.Analysis of the difference of incidence, treatment and prevalence of mental disordersthere were significant differences in family history of Mental Disorders, duration of illness, treatment status and treatment opportunities among patients with mental disorders(p < 0.05).4.Analysis of differences between urban and rural areas in drug treatment of schizophrenia patients in rural areasIn rural areas, there were significant differences in gender, marital status, educational level, economic status, age / age, duration of illness, and number of hospital stays between patients receiving medication(p < 0.05),while in urban areas, there were significant differences in marriage, education, employment, economic status, age / age and hospital stay(p < 0.05).The logistic regression analysis on the influencing factors of schizophrenic patients in urban and rural areas shows that the treatment of schizophrenic patients is influenced by many factors.5.Correlation between age of onset and time of first treatment in patients with schizophreniaThe time of first treatment was converted to the age of first treatment, and the age of first onset was analyzed. The Correlation Coefficient of the two was 0.877,(p < 0.01),which showed that they were highly correlated and passed the significant test.6.Prevalence of severe mental disorders and schizophrenia in different regions of a city in western ChinaThe number of patients with severe mental disorder was the highest in Area 1(1961 cases),the lowest in Area 4(399 cases),the highest in Area 1(1018 cases)and the lowest in Area 4(197 cases).7.The prevalence of severe mental disorders was observed in rural and urban areas, respectivelySchizophrenia was ranked first in the list of severe mental disorders, both in urban and rural areas. Conclusion: Schizophrenia is still the focus of our attention in major mental disorders,in addition to further study of its demographic characteristics, prevalence and treatment,we found that treatment for schizophrenia was influenced by a combination of factors, and that there was a correlation between the age of first treatment and the age of first onset, through the deep analysis of these data,we can understand the characteristics of their diseases, and provide scientific basis for further improving the community mental health prevention system and carrying out community mental health prevention and control work,to better serve the majority of the community with Severe Mental Disorders.
