Objective: To explore the impact of continuing care based on Internet technology on the quality of life,self-efficacy and severity of related symptoms in patients with lung cancer chemotherapy,to evaluate the application effect of this model in patients with lung cancer chemotherapy, with a view to providing reference for medical staff to use convenient and effective continuous care model to manage patients with lung cancer chemotherapy. Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study.126 patients with lung cancer who were treated for the first time in two different thoracic medicine departments in a tertiary cancer hospital in Changsha from March,2019 to December,2019 were included in the study. The coin toss method was used to randomly divide the two wards into a control group(n=63)and an intervention group(n=63).The control group received routine health education and care for patients undergoing lung cancer chemotherapy during hospitalization, and was given discharge guidance and telephone follow-up after discharge;the intervention group implemented continuous nursing intervention based on Internet technology after discharge from the hospital. In four chemotherapy cycles, nurses push health education knowledge to discharged patients through the continuation of care platform, early warning of symptoms of chemotherapy complications and remote communication with patients to implement continuation of care.Collect general data of patients before intervention, and the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Lung cancer(FACT-L),Strategies Used by People to Promote Health(SUPPH)and Chinese version of the M.D.Anderson symptom inventory(MDASI-C)were collected before the intervention,1 month of intervention and 3 months of intervention.SPSS24.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis.Statistical methods included descriptivestatistics,Mann-Whitney U test,chi-square test,t-test,repeated-measures analysis of variance, the inspection level ?=0.05.Results:1.Lost of participants: at the beginning,we had recruited 63 patients per group. With 16 losses, the final cases were 110,54 in the intervention group and 56 in the control group.2.Baseline survey results: There was no statistically significant difference between the general data and disease data of the two groups of patients before intervention(P>0.05),which was comparable.FACT-L score:(88.75±13.63)points in the intervention group,(88.75±10.24)points in the control group;SUPPH score:(84.43±12.66)points in the intervention group,(85.38±11.94)points in the control group;the FACT-L,SUPPH and MDASI-C scores of two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05),and were comparable.3.The effect of continuing nursing intervention based on Internet technology(1)Comparison of FACT-L between two groups of patients: the results of repeated measures analysis of variance showed that the intervention effects and interaction effects of the total scores of quality of life,social/family status, emotional status, and functional status scores of the two groups of patients were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the intervention effect with physiological status and additional attention dimension(P>0.05);the comparison between the groups showed that: the total quality of life, physiological status,social/family status, emotional status, functional status,The score of the additional attention dimension was improved to some extent from the baseline and the score was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)Comparison of SUPPH between two groups of patients: the results of repeated measures analysis of variance showed that in addition to the self-decision dimension, the self-decompression,positive attitude and other dimensions of the two groups of patients and the total self-efficacy score were affected by the intervention effect, time effect and interaction effect(P<0.05),the difference Statistically significant;the results of the comparison between the groups showed that the interventiongroup's self-decompression,positive attitude dimension and total self-efficacy scores were significantly improved from the baseline and the scores were higher than the control group at 3 months of intervention, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Comparison of MDASI-C between two groups of patients:the results of repeated analysis of variance showed that the intervention effects of 7 items: restless sleep, distress, poor appetite, dry mouth, weight loss, relationship with others, and life pleasure were statistically significant(P<0.05);the comparison results between the 2 groups showed :fatigue, restless sleep, distress, forgetfulness, poor appetite, dry mouth in the intervention group at 3 months of intervention,Weight loss, emotions, relationship with others, life fun and other items scored lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Continuing nursing based on Internet technology can improve the quality of life of lung cancer chemotherapy patients;2.Continuing nursing based on Internet technology can improve the self-efficacy of lung cancer chemotherapy patients;3 Continuing nursing based on Internet technology can improve the severity of symptoms and reduce symptom of patients with lung cancer chemotherapy to a certain extent, but it cannot change the nature of the progressive deterioration of the disease;4.The use of Internet technology for lung cancer chemotherapy patients to continue care is time-saving and effective,it is worthy of popularization and application, but its long-term effect and the effect of large samples need to be studied.
