Objective:The purpose of this study is to provide a data support for the clinical application of extended care by analyzing the impact of extended care measures on the health situation,self-confidence in coping with the disease and quality of life of patients with lymphoma chemotherapy after observing and studying some patients with lymphoma chemotherapy after the extended care under the guidance of the overall nursing theory.Methods:117 patients who were diagnosed lymphoma and hospitalized in Department of lymphangiology of Jilin cancer hospital with chemotherapy from June 2016 to Aprile2017 were selected in this study.Patients and their families are informed the content of the extended care after the end of the first course of hospitalization. The extended care content and scheme were implemented among the voluntary patients and six courses tracking nursing and observed were done.Meanwhile, the related data of patients who didn't participate in the extended care were collected for comparative study. In the research period, all the patients with lymphoma hospitalized in our hospital were required to fill in self-management efficacy scale, the Chinese cancer patients quality of life assessment questionnaire and specific questionnaire designed for such research. The data of 257 patients were collected to build the related database, and SPSSl9.0 statistical software was used for data processing and analysis. Results:After three cycles of chemotherapy, there was difference between the patients after extended care and that without receiving extended care in the emotion function and general health situation. The evaluation scoring has statistic meaning(P<0.05)and the former is superior to the latter. However, the difference of such two groups of patients is insignificant in the function area and has no statistical significance(P>0.05).The univariate analysis of self-management performance score showed thatthe positive attitude score,self-decision score, and self-pressure relief score of patients with lymphoma chemotherapy were higher than that without participating in the extended care;the total score of self-management performance of patients with lymphoma chemotherapy after extended care concentrated at 80.62 points, the score of the patients without participating in the extended care was 75.44 points, and there was statistical significance(P <0.05).After six cycles of chemotherapy, the scores of the patients participating in the extended care were higher than those without participating in extended care in function area, and the difference of the quality of life between the two groups was statistically significant and had statistical significance(P <0.05).The univariate analysis of the self-management efficacy scores of the two groups showed that there is difference between these two groups in the score of positive attitude score,self-decision content score,self-decompression score and self-management performance score. The results were significantly different(P <0.05)and the score of the patients who participated in the extended care was higher than that of patients who didn't participate in the extended care.Conclusion:1.Extended care can effectively improve the self-efficacy and self-management ability of patients with lymphoma chemotherapy;2.Extended care can improve the quality of life in patients with lymphoma chemotherapy, especially the social function.
