| Objective:To observe the clinical effect and safety of Fuzheng Tongluo acupuncture in the treatment of refractory facial paralysis with deficiency of Qi and blood type. Methods:Patients with refractory facial paralysis of deficiency of Qi and blood type were selected according to the inclusion criteria.According to the order of patients’ treatment, patients were divided into treatment group(Fuzheng Tongluo acupuncture)and control group(routine acupuncture)with a ratio of 1:1 by random number method,36 in each group.Once a day,six times a week, one day off a week,a total of 4 weeks. The therapeutic effect of the two groups were observed with H-B rating scale and Sunnybrook facial nerve scoring system. The therapeutic effect was evaluated and compared on the day of admission,12 times after treatment and 24 times after treatment, and the data were recorded. The data were analyzed with SPSS 25.0statistical software, and the results and conclusions were obtained.Results:1.Before treatment: there was no significant difference between the two groups in the baseline data of patients, including age, gender and disease position ratio, course of disease,H-B gradeand the Sunnybrook facial nerve scoring system(P>0.05).2.Comparison within the group: after 12 times of treatment and 24 times of treatment, the H-B gradeand the Sunnybrook facial nerve scoring system of the two groups were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.001),suggesting that the two treatment methods had significant improvement on the recovery of facial nerve function.3.Comparison between groups:(1)After 12 times of treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in H-B classification 、Sunnybrook facial nerve scoring system and efficacy(P>0.05),After 12 times of treatment, the curative effect of the two groups was equal.(2)After the 24 th treatment, the patients’ H-B grade,he Sunnybrook facial nerve scoring system and the curative effect were compared between the two groups, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The cure rate(11.4%)and the total effective rate(91.4%)in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group(2.8%)and the total effective rate(85.7%),suggesting that the treatment group was superior in the recovery of facial nerve function and the improvement of symptoms In the control group.4.In this study,72 patients,1 lost,1 removed,70 successfully completed the treatment,no adverse events occurred.Conclusions:1.The two treatment methods,Fuzheng Tongluo acupuncture and conventional acupuncture, have significant effect on the treatment of refractory facial paralysis patients with deficiency of Qi and blood type, and their safety is high.2.The therapeutic effect of Fuzheng Tongluo acupuncture is better than that of routine acupuncture in the treatment of refractory facial paralysis of deficiency of Qi and blood type, which can improve the cure rate of refractory facial paralysis of deficiency of Qi and blood type. |
