Observation On The Correlation Between The Treatment Course And The Curative Effect Of Acupuncture At Different Nerve Injury Segments Of Facial Paralysis

Objective:Facial Paralysisis a common disease in China.Although there are many kind of therapy to cure facial paralysis but Acupuncture is the best therapy for this disease.The patients who suffered by this disease physical symptoms can include partial to complete loss of facial movement and expression Jack of eye closure,also have problems with eating and speaking,loss of sensation etc.Cause of their symptoms,they feed a lot pressure,pay so much attention to their course of disease,want to know about their refractory period and a rough time of the facial paralysis.Although there are a lot of research about facial paralysis.But we haven’t find any researches about the relation between acupuncture treatment and approximate course of facial paralysis,the relation between facial paralysis refractory period and course of disease.Therefore our research is about through to find out the refractory period and approximate course of facial paralysis,to reach a conclusion,offer to doc’tor and patients an approximate clinical course timing.Methods:A total of 80 facial paralysis patients.According to their nerve inj ury segments,divided into four groups:1 group(extramastoid segment),2 groups(tympanic cord ganglion segment),3 groups(stapes ganglion segment),and 4 groups(geniculate ganglion segment).There are 20 patients in each group,and each group received acupuncture and treatment.House-Brackmann scale,dynamic scale and static scale were used to evaluate and record the improvement of facial symptoms before,during and the after treatment.We use Excel and SPSS 20.0 statistical software for analysis and calculate the research results.These methods are used to calculate the approximate refractory period and duration of facial paralysis at different nerve injury segments,and the relation between refractory period and course of disease,and the curative effect of acupuncture treatment.Conclusion:Acupuncture treatment have very good result,has a higher recovery rate.The segment of facial nerve injury,refractory period,course and curative effect have clear correlation.1.The nerve injury segment related with refractory period and course:The lowestsegment of nerve injuryhas the shortest refractory period and course.The highest segment of nerve injury has the longest refractory period and course.Refractory period and course have positive correlation.2.The nerve injury segment related with nerve injury level.The lowest segment of nerve inj ury has mild injury level.The highest segment of nerve injury has severe injury level.3.The nerve injury segment related with curative effect.The lowest segment of nerve injury has shortest course of treatment,the highest segment of nerve injury has the longest course of treatment.
