Objective: To scan the retinal thickness of macular inner nuclear layer(INL)in different refractive conditions by spectral-domain optical coherence tomography(SDOCT).To obtain the thickness data and to explore the variation of the retinal thickness of INL with the increase of refractive power.Methods: A total of 233 cases(233 eyes)were collected(78 males with 78 eyes and 155 females with 155 eyes).According to different spherical equivalents(SE),it is divided into 4 groups,including 57 cases(57 eyes)in normal control group(0.50D≤SE≤0.50D),57 cases(57 eyes)in low myopia group(-3.00D≤SE<-0.50D),58 cases(58 eyes)in medium myopia group(-6.00D≤SE<-3.00D)and 61 cases(61 eyes)in high myopia group(SE<-6.00D).Four groups of subjects underwent routine ophthalmologic examination,axial measurement,and corneal topography examination by the same ophthalmologist.SD-OCT was used to scan the retina of the macular area of the subject to treat early diabetic retinopathy.The Early Treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy Study(ETDRS)standard partitioned the macular area,obtained the thickness of the retinal INL in the retinal area of the macular area,analyzed and compared the difference of the thickness distribution of the retinal INL in each area,and explored the correlation between the thickness change and the diopter and the axial axis..Results: The INL thickness of the central region was thinner than other regions(P <0.001).Each region of the INL thickness in the outer ring was lower than that in the inner ring(P < 0.001).The thickness of retinal INL in the four regions of the inner ring was statistically significant(P < 0.05).From thick to thin in order: inner ring nasal,inner ring temporal,inner ring superior,inner ring inferior.The thickness of retinal INL in the four regions of the outer ring was significantly different(P < 0.05).From thick to thin in order:outer ring inferior,outer ring superior,outer ring nasal,outer ring temporal.The thickness of retinal INL in the eight regions of the macula was positively correlated with the SE(r>2,P<0.05),In other regions,no correlations were found.There was a negative correlation between retinal INL thickness and AL in the five regions of the macula and the outer ring(r<-2,P<0.05).In other regions,no correlationswere found.The thickness of retinal INL between groups was compared.There was no significant difference in the thickness of INL between the normal control group and the low myopia group(P>0.05).Compared the normal control group with the moderate myopia group,except for the central region,the inner ring inferior and the inner ring nasal side,the INL thickness of the rest of the front view group was higher than that of the moderate myopia group,and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).Compared the normal control group with the high myopia group,the INL thickness of the normal control group was higher than the high myopia group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared the low myopia group with the moderate myopia group,the INL thickness of the inner ring superior,the inner ring nose,the inner ring temperal and the outer ring superior of the low myopia group was higher than the moderate myopia group,and the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05).Compared the low myopia group with the high myopia group,except for the central region,the INL thickness of the low myopia group were higher than the high myopia group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared the moderate myopia group with the high myopia group,the thickness of INL in the middle myopia group of the outer ring nasal was higher than the high myopia group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.The thickness of the INL in the whole macular area is annular,the central area is the thinnest,followed by the outer ring area,and the inner ring area is the thickest.2.The thickness of the INL in the inner ring and outer ring retina in the macular area gradually becomes thinner with an increase in SE.3.The thickness of INL in the inner and outer ring of the middle myopia goup and high myopia goup is significantly thinner than normal control group.
