Objective: To investigate the retinal choroid and nerve fiber layer thickness changes in difference myopia in children,so as to discuss the relationship between the the factor of axis and the equivalent sphere.Subjects and Method:Select 236 children in our hospital,one hundred and seven boys and one hundred-Twenty-nine girls,average age of 6.8+ 2.7.All eyes were ruled out the pathological changes of fundus diseases and front section.After a tropine optometry,they were divided into four groups:A is low myopia group,B is moderate myopia group and C is high myopia group and D is normal control group.Retinal scans were obtained for all eyes by using Zeiss optical coherence tomography(OCT),and axial length was also surveyed by A-ultrasound.The results were compared with each other by using SPSS18.0,and discuss the correlation between the axial and equivalent spherical.Results: 1.Macular retinal thickness: macular central fovea retinal thickness of group A is(244.41±18.97)μm,group B is(244.65±18.22)μm,group C is(249.42 ± 30.86)μ m,and group D is(240.87 ± 24.16)μ m,The thickness of the macular fovea has significantly in each group(P<0.05).In high myopia group,the retinal thickness in inner-up is(295.42 ± 17.70)μ m,in inner-down is(287.00 ± 17.32)μ m,in inner-nasal is(290.65±21.83)μm,and in inner-temporal is(291.27±18.26)μm,in outer-up is(291.27±18.26)μm,in outer-down is(258.00 ±20.78)μm,in outer-nasal is(260.85±30.17)μm,and in outer-temporal is(256.73±26.05)μm,all the difference has statistically significant(P<0.05).The retinal thickness in myopia group was significantly negatively correlated with the equivalent sphere in the inner up,the inner down,the inner nasal,the inner temporal,the outer up,the outer nasal and the outer temporal.The thickness of retina in myopia group was negatively correlated with the axis of the eye in outer-up and in outer-nasal.2.Choroidal thickness: group A is(318.9 ± 33.1)μ m,group B is(315.9±29.7)μm,group C is(311.9±27.2)μm,and group D is(320.7±34.2)μm,With the deepening of myopia,the difference has statistically significant(P<0.05).There was a negative correlation of the choroid thickness between the axis of the eye and the equivalent sphere.3.Nerve fiber layer thickness: group A is(96.89±9.28)μm,group B is(99.05±9.13)μm,group C is(89.15±13.36)μm,and group D is(97.72±10.15)μm,The mean nerve fiber layer thickness change in each group has statistically significant(P<0.05).High myopia compared with other groups,in the above,below and nasal disc surrounding has statistically significant(P<0.05).Nerve fiber layer thickness and the equivalent spherical and axial upper and lower parts of the disc was negatively correlated.Conclusion: 1.Although there is no obvious change in the fundus of children with myopia,the thickness of retina has begun to migrate.With the deeping of myopia,except for maculr central fovea and temporal nerve fiber layer thickness,other side are become thinner.2.It has closely related in macular retina,choroid,nerve fiber layer thickness and axial length,spherical equivalent.It may said that the change of retinal thickness is not a single factor,and a variety of factors. |
