Clinical Observation Of Treatment With Nano Microneedle Leading-in 5% Minoxidil Combining Compound Glycyrrhizin For Light Alopecia Areata

Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy in nano microneedle leading-in 5%minoxidil combined with compound glycyrrhizin for light alopecia areata by clinical observation.To compare the indicators of clinical efficacy evaluation,clinical onset time,clinical recovery time and safety evaluation in pretherapy and post-treatment.In order to provide a reference for the clinical application and therapeutic evaluation of the treatment in nano microneedle leading-in 5% minoxidil combining compound glycyrrhizin for light alopecia areata.Methods :Involving 82 patients with light alopecia areata matched the inclusion criteria of the study and randomly divided into 2 groups: the experimental group and the control group.5% minoxidil leaded-in by nano microneedle was applied in the experimental group for a week and the tincture of 5% minoxidil was used for external at ordinary times in the same time,while the control group were just treated in the way of 5% minoxidil regularly.Both groups were treated with oral compound glycyrrhizin,2 pills/time,three times a day,4weeks for a course.Observation and evaluation were conducted every 2 weeks and the total time is 12 weeks.Before treatment,general clinical data including gender,age,course of disease,alopecia area and clinical classification were all recorded.Treatment clinical efficacy,onset time,recovery time and adverse reactions in post-treatment were all recorded.The data was summarized and analyzed statistically with SPSS 23.0 software in the end.Results:1.Both groups had no drop-out during the whole process.2.There was no statistic difference in the general clinical data including gender,age,courseof disease,alopecia area and clinical classification(P>0.05,α=0.05).3.33 cases(80.5%)were improved and 29(70.7%)were cured in experimental group;28cases(68.3%)were improved and 26(63.4%)were cured in control group.The cure rate and effective rate in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant.(The “P” of cure rate =0.156,The “P” of effective rate=0.319).4.The median of the effective time of the experimental group were 2 weeks and the median of the effective time of the control group were 4 weeks.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The median of the healing time in the experimental group were [6(4)]weeks and the median of the healing time in the control group were 8 weeks.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.There were no adverse reactions during the treatment,and the therapeutic scheme was safe and feasible.Conclusion: Nano microneedle leading-in 5% minoxidil combined compound glycyrrhizin in the treatment for light alopecia areata is safe and effective.And it may accelerate the regeneration of hair and shorten the course of disease.
