Research On The Effect Of Medical College Counselors In Medical Ethics Education

Medical science is a science concerning "human" and a study of "human" knowledge.In addition to learning and mastering medical knowledge,cultivating the virtue of medical ethics is the core of medical students' cultivation.Seen in a new light,the paper explores its role in medical ethics education from the perspective of counselors,a special group of teachers in medical colleges,instead of the past paradigm of medical ethics education that emphasizes the construction of curriculum system and the influence of professional teachers.Firstly,after sorting out the literature of medical ethics education both at home and abroad,the paper finds that the research mainly involves the necessity,feasibility,practical education and teaching mode reform of medical ethics education.And it also finds that there is a big gap between domestic and foreign medical ethics education.Domestic researchers mostly explore the theoretical level within the academic scope,while foreign scholars collect a large number of data and with the combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods.Through the investigation,we propose that some medical students' value orientation is biased.More than half of them choose the major because of the high income,the high employment rate and the stability of medical profession.Their understanding of medical ethics education is not comprehensive enough.There are some problems in current medical ethics education,such as void and tedious,copy-based education,single educational approach,imperfect formative evaluation system of medical ethics education achievements and so on.In view of the above problems,the counselors,as the teachers who have the closest relationship with medical students,play an irreplaceable role in the medical ethics education.From the aspects of theme class meeting,"Internet +" technology,campus culture construction,social practice activities,formative assessment of medical ethics education,etc.,we should give full play to subjective initiative,carry out a series of Countermeasures Research on the defects of medical ethics education,innovate the methods of implementing medical ethics education by counselors,change the defects of the summative evaluation of medical ethics achievements in the past,and reconstruct some students' value so that we can improve the enthusiasm and attention of medical students to medical ethics education,make medical students understand that saving the dead and helping the wounded is the connotation of doctors' duty,cultivate students' firm will and moral awareness to serve patients' health wholeheartedly,and constantly make new contributions to improving people's health.
