| Objective:In this study,Acupotomy guided by Meridians and Qi-Blood Theory was used to treat cervical spondylotic radiculopathy combining with Jingshu Granule. It was proved as an effecitve treatment by observing the therapeutic effect.Method:All cases were from the Department of Orthopaedics of the Affiliated People’s Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine between November 2017 and August 2018.A total of 90 cases were in accordance with the inclusion criteria and diagnostic criteria. The cases were randomly divided into Combined group, acupotomy group and TCM group with 30 cases in each group. The cases of Acupotomy group were treated by acupotomy guided by Meridians and Qi-Blood Theory. The cases of TCM group were treated with Jingshu Granules. The cases of Combined group were treated by acupotomy combined with Jingshu Granules. All the courses of treatment mentioned above were one month, and all the cases were followed up for three months. The VAS scores and the Comprehensive scores of symptoms and signs were recorded respectively before treatment, after treatment for 1 month and 3 months of follow-up.The latency time and conduction velocity of F wave of ulnar nerve and median nerve were recorded respectively before and after treatment. All cases were followed up for three months to evaluated the therapeutic effect, which were statistically compared by the SPSS 20.0 in cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Result:1.VAS score: The VAS scores of the 3 groups after treatment and the follow-up 3 months were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The VAS scores of the combined group and the follow-up 3 months were lower than the needle knife group and the Chinese medicine group.Academic significance(P<0.05).2.YT20 score: YT20 scores were higher in the 3 groups after treatment and 3 months after the follow-up(P<0.05).The YT20 scores in the combined group and the follow-up in March were higher than those in the needle-knife group and the Chinese medicine group.Statistically significant(P<0.05).3.F-wave conduction velocity and latency of median nerve and ulnar nerve: The F-wave conduction velocity of median nerve and ulnar nerve in the three groups was faster than that before treatment(both P<0.05),and the latency of F wave was shortened(both P<0.05),the F-wave conduction velocity and latency of the median nerve and ulnar nerve in the combined group were more significant than those in the acupuncture group and the traditional Chinese medicine group(P<0.05).4.Overall efficacy evaluation:The total effective rate was 96.7% in the follow-up group and 86.7% in the acupuncture group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effective rate of the Chinese medicine group was 76.7%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupotomy guided by Meridians and Qi-Blood Theory combined with Jingshu Granules is more effective than simple needle knife treatment and simple neck granule treatment in relieving pain, upper limb numbness, improving quality of life and increasing clinical efficacy in patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. |
