| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Huoxuexiaozheng recipe in the treatment of adult polycystic kidney disease(CKD stage 3～4).Methods : Selecting 40 patients from the Department of Nephrology,the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and who met the diagnostic criteria for adult polycystic kidney disease(CKD stage 3～4).The patients were given oral Huoxuexiaozheng recipe(Adding Guizhifuling pills)for 3 months.The clinical symptoms,signs,TCM syndrome scores and 24-hour urine protein quantitation,serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),Cystatin-C(Cys-C),Creatinine clearance rate(Ccr),high magnification microscopic urinary red blood cell count,kidney volume and other indicators were observed before and after treatment.Result:1.The total clinical effective rate of the patients after treatment was78.95%;the TCM syndrome scores of the patients after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),and the difference was statistically significant;especially for improving the abdominal block,abdominal distension,waist and knee pain,fatigue,nausea and vomiting are better;2.The levels of Scr,BUN and Cys-C in patients after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),and the difference was statistically significant.The Ccr of patients after treatment was higher than that before treatment(P<0.01),the difference was obvious statistical significance;3.There was no significant difference in24-hour urine protein quantitation,urine red blood cell count and kidney volume between the before and the after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.The treatment of adult polycystic kidney disease(CKD stage 3～4)by using Huoxuexiaozheng recipe can improve the clinical symptoms and signs of patients and reduce the score of TCM syndrome;2.Treating adult polycystic kidney disease(CKD stage 3～4)with Huoxuexiaozheng recipe can reduce the patient’s Scr,BUN,Cys-C levels,improve endogenous creatinine clearance,and improve kidney function. |
