Clinical Observation Of Catgut Implantation At Shu-mu Points In Treating Simple Obesity

ObjectiveThe curative effect of catgut implantation at shu-mu Points in Treating simple obesity was observed by comparing simple acupuncture.We tend to explore the mechanism of catgut implantation at shu-mu Points in Treating simple obesity.Ultimately,from what we research,this experiment provides a new idea for treating simple obesity with acupuncture.MethodDuring the research object from January 2018 to December 2018,66 eligible cases suffering from simple obesity were enrolled in this research,averagely,66 eligible cases involved were randomly divided into two groups.catgut implantation at shu-mu Points was applied on the treatment group while and simple acupuncture was adopted in the control group.the treatment group.catgut implantation at shu-mu Points was applied on the treatment group,one time a week,continuous treatment for two months.simple acupuncture was adopted in the control group.simple acupuncture was adopted in the control group,three time a week,continuous treatment for two months.the first treatment,the VAS score of the two groups were recorded.and After treatment,waistine,weight andthe BMI index score of the two groups were recorded.The data were recorded into SPSS23.0 for statistical analysis.Results1.Before the treatment,The baseline characteristics of two group,the treatment group(catgut implantation at shu-mu Points)and the control group(simple acupuncture)was no statistically significant.2.By intra-group comparison,the total scores of waistine,weight and the BMI index score before and after treatment in the(catgut implantation at shu-mu Points)and the control group(simple acupuncture)were statistically significant(P<0.05).In the two groups,the total scores of the former two scales decreased significantly(P<0.05),which two group have great curative effect in treating simple obesity.3.By inter-group comparison,the total scores of waistine,weight and the BMI index score and after treatment in the treatment group(catgut implantation at shu-mu Points)and the control group(simple acupuncture)were statistically comparable and significant(P(0.05).The total scores of the waistine,weight and the BMI index score in the treatment group(catgut implantation at shu-mu Points)decreased more significantly(P<0.05)than those in the control group(simple acupuncture).The total scores of the waistine,weight and the BMI index score in the treatment group(catgut implantation at shu-mu Points)was higher than that in the control group(simple acupuncture).4.After treatments(2 months later),the effective clinical rate of this treatment group(catgut implantation at shu-mu Points)was 90.90%,the control group effective(simple acupuncture)clinical rate was merely 67.90%.the treatment group(catgut implantation at shu-mu Points)was statistically higher than that of the control group(simple acupuncture).ConclusionFrom the study,we can known that the therapies applied in the treatment group and control group both showed certain effect in simple obesity in terms of waistine,weight and the BMI index score.The first time treatment the VAS score that in the control group was as well as that of the treatment group.Therefore,we can conclude that catgut implantation at shu-mu Points is an effective therapy which is worthy of being simple obesity depression in clinical practice.
