Study On The Rule Of Medicine For The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis (Liver And Kidney Deficiency) By Professor Liu Bailing Based On Data Mining

Objective: To discuss and summarize the clinical medication rule and academic thought of Professor Liu Bailing's,a master of national medicine,in the treatment of the liver and kidney deficiency kind of Knee Osteoarthritis(knee pain).Methods: Select and record 100 cases of the special treatment for the knee pain from Professor Liu's prescription to mine his compatibility of the medicines on the basis of "knee pain 1" formula by establishing a database of the medication,applying the frequency statistics and cluster analysis and association rule analysis.Results: There are 22 types of the high frequency medicines for the treatment of knee pain,like Jishiteng,Aconite,whose frequency in the application is more than 10%.By the cluster analysis,the high frequency drugs can be divided into four categories.The first category includes 16 kinds of drugs:Curcumae,Eupolyphaga Steleophaga,Cinnamon,Clematis,Xuchangqing,Papaya,Rehmannia,Morinda,Xuduan,Centipede,Yiyiren,Spatholobus,Wushaoshe,Atractylodes,Baijili,Shenjincao.6 drugs belong to the second category:Hanfangji,Corydalis,Shijianchuan,Scorpion,Cuttlefish bone,Psoralen.There are such 6 drugs as Myrrh,Frankincense,in the third category;In the fourth,there are Aconite,Jishiteng.Through the method of association rule analysis,we can find that the drugs such as Duhuo and Epimedium are commonly used drugs;the association of the three drugs can be obtained as drugs such as Eupolyphaga Steleophaga,Duhuo and Sangjisheng;It is derived from four related species such as Eupolyphaga Steleophaga,Centipede,Epimedium and Sangjisheng.Conclusion: Professor Liu's academic context of the "kidney dominating" to treat the pain of knee.The results of the cluster analysis and association rules objectively reveal his clinical medication features and prescription rules.
