Objective: To understand the community nursing needs of elderly hypertensive patients in Changchun through questionnaire survey and analysis of its influencing factors,and to provide targeted care for elderly hypertensive patients with the purpose of improving the health of elderly hypertensive patients in the community.Methods: Nine districts of Changchun City were selected from June to October,2018 by multi-stage stratified random sampling method.One community health service center was randomly selected in each district.50 elderly patients with hypertension were randomly selected from each center.A total of 450 elderly patients with hypertension were investigated.The questionnaire was filled in anonymously and the integrity of the questionnaire was strictly controlled.Results:1.450 elderly hypertensive patients were interviewed in this study.According to the community nursing needs project,the top ten needs of patients were: to provide basic knowledge guidance on hypertension(91.1%),to provide regular health check-up(90.2%),to provide guidance on hypertension prevention and health care for family high-risk groups(89.3%),to provide individualized dietary guidance(88.4%)and to provide knowledge on Prevention and treatment of complications(88.2%).Individualized medication safety guidance(84.4%),simple first aid knowledge and skills guidance(83.8%),individualized exercise guidance(81.1%),health counseling service(78.0%)and caregiver guidance(76.4%).2.Through the single factor analysis of community nursing needs of elderly patients with hypertension,it was found that there were significant factors for the total nursing needs(P < 0.05).The main factors were age,marital status,educational level,pre-retirement occupation,income,type of residence,medical insurance,salt intake,regular physical exercise,blood pressure before taking medicine and blood pressure.Frequency of blood pressure measurement,diagnostic criteria of hypertension,taking medicine on time every day,age,marital status,educational level,pre-retirement occupation,income,type of residence,salt intake,diagnostic criteria of hypertension,frequency of blood pressure measurement,regular physical exercise and taking medicine on time every day had statistical significance on individual knowledge and skill dimensions.The influencing factors of district supportive services were age,pre-retirement occupation,smoking,drinking,regular physical exercise,blood pressure measurement frequency,diagnostic criteria of hypertension and taking medicine on time every day.3.Multivariate stepwise regression analysis showed that six factors had significant influence on community nursing needs of hypertension patients.The six factors are regular physical exercise,income,education level,age,diagnostic criteria of hypertension and frequency of blood pressure measurement.Conclusion:1.The community care needs of elderly hypertensive patients in Changchun City are at a medium level,and the demand for personal knowledge and skills in each dimension needs is high.2.The factors affecting community nursing needs of elderly hypertensive patients in Changchun are: age,pre-retirement occupation,diagnostic criteria for hypertension,frequency of blood pressure measurement,regular physical exercise,on-time medication,marital status,education level,income,salt intake,Living conditions,smoking,drinking.3.The influencing factors of community nursing needs of elderly patients with hypertension in Changchun were age,education level,income,regular physical exercise,diagnostic criteria of hypertension and frequency of blood pressure measurement.Income was positively correlated with the total demand score of community nursing,that is,the higher the income,the higher the nursing demand;the total demand of community nursing was negatively correlated with age,education level,regular physical exercise,hypertension standard and blood pressure measurement frequency,that is,the higher the score,the lower the nursing demand.
