Objective:By studying the correlation between its appearance traits and internal indicators,a multi-index,multi-component,comprehensive quality standard and grading standards were constructed to evaluate the quality of ginseng medicinal materials and decoction pieces.Methods:1.Collect different grades of ginseng medicinal materials and decoction samples from the real estate area,main producing area,mainstream market,and distribution center.Refer to the 2015 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia and the United States Pharmacopoeia and other related medicinal materials standards,for the source and traits of the sample.Research on identification,inspection,fingerprinting,and content determination,and develop new quality standards for ginseng medicinal materials and decoction pieces,and evaluate the quality of ginseng medicinal materials and decoction pieces.2.Based on the existing ginseng medicinal materials and decoction grading standards,combined with market circulation,clinical application and grading,the main root diameter,the diameter of the reed head,the length of the main root,the length of the reed head,the weight of a single ginseng,the number of 500g,etc.Appearance indicators,internal indicators such as moisture,ash,and ginsenoside content,through correlation analysis,principal component analysis and cluster analysis,to examine the correlation between indicators,and establish the evaluation criteria for ginseng herbs and decoction pieces.Results:1.Collect 144 batches of medicinal materials and 24 batches of decoction pieces.The appearance traits,microscopic identification,moisture,ash inspection and active ingredient content are all in line with the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2015 edition standard.Based on the existing standards,the method of thin layer identification and content determination was optimized and the method of ginseng fingerprint was established.3.Developed a draft ginseng quality standard.4.The classification of ginseng herbs is as follows:first-class ginseng herbs:main root diameter>1.83cm,reed length>2.54cm,single-stem weight>14.54g,total saponin content>2.97%,ginsenoside Rg₁ content>0.51%,The ginsenoside Re content is>0.51%,and the ginsenoside Rb₁ content is>0.81%.Second-class ginseng herbs:main root diameter is 1.63-1.83cm,reed length 1.93-2.54cm,single-part weight 10.84-14.54g,total saponin content 2.39-2.97%,ginsenoside Rg₁ content0.36-0.51%,ginsenoside Re The content is 0.37-0.51%,and the ginsenoside Rb₁ content is0.59-0.81%.Third-class ginseng herbs:main root diameter is 1.38-1.63cm,reed length 1.43-1.93cm,single-part weight 8.05-10.84g,total saponin content 1.96-2.39%,ginsenoside Rg₁ content 0.26-0.36%,ginsenoside Re The content is 0.30-0.37%,and the ginsenoside Rb₁ content is 0.44-0.59%.Fourth-class ginseng herbs:main root diameter<1.38cm,reed length<1.43cm,single-stem weight<8.05g,extract content<1.96%,ginsenoside Rg₁ content<0.26%,ginsenoside Re content<0.30%,The ginsenoside Rb₁ content is<0.44%.5.The classification of ginseng pieces is as follows:first-class ginseng pieces:diameter>16.53mm,thickness>1.95mm,total saponin content>1.21%,ginsenoside Rg₁content>0.26%,ginsenoside Re content>0.19%,ginsenoside Rb₁ The content is>0.29%.Second-class ginseng decoction pieces:diameter 15.46-16.53cm,thickness 1.83-1.95cm,total saponin content 1.07-1.21%,ginsenoside Rg₁ content 0.19-0.26%,ginsenoside Re content 0.13-0.19%,ginsenoside Rb₁ content 0.23-0.30%.Third-class ginseng decoction pieces:diameter<15.46mm,thickness<1.83mm,total saponin content<1.07%,ginsenoside Rg₁ content<0.19%,ginsenoside Re content<0.13%,ginsenoside Rb1 content<0.23%.Conclusion:1.Established the quality standard of ginseng,laid the foundation for standardizing the quality control of the medicinal materials and the decoction pieces market and realizing the high quality and good price of medicinal materials and decoction pieces.2.The results show that the content of the tested samples are in compliance with the Pharmacopoeia regulations,and the quality of samples from different producing areas has obvious differences,and the content shows a clear trend:Dao Real Estate Zone>Main Producing Area>Mainstream Market>Distributed Land.
