| Object:the purpose of this study was to observe the therapeutic effect of"Shu-Mu-Point combination"acupoint application on patients with chronic persistent asthma,and to provide a novel idea of acupoint application for children with asthma.Methods:90 children who met the criteria were randomly divided into three groups:Shu-Mu-Point combination group,conventional group and western medicine group,with 30 cases in every experimental group.The main acupoints was Fei shu,zhong fu,pi shu,zhang men,shen shu and jing men.The conventional acupoint selection method was used in the conventional group,and the main acupoints were Feishu,ding chuan,gao huang,shen shu,tai yuan and tai xi.The above two groups were given corresponding acupoints according to the TCM syndrome type of the children,each time for 3-5h,once for 2 days.The western medicine group took monetarist sodium chewable tablets orally,5mg each time,once a day,before going to bed.All the three groups were monitored for 2 months after treatment,and the main symptoms,signs,PEF and FEV1 values before and after treatment,as well as the number of asthma attacks during the follow-up was observed and compared.Results:（1）comparison of clinical efficacy:among the 28 cases in Shu-Mu-Point Combination group,5 cases were under total clinical control,11cases showed significant effect,7 cases showed improvement,5 cases were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 82.14%.Among the 27 cases in the western medicine group,8 cases were under clinical control,10 cases showed a significant effect,6 cases showed improvement,3 cases were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 88.89%.Among the 29 cases in the routine group,there were 2 cases of clinical control,4 cases of expressive effect,15 cases of improvement,8 cases of abortive effect,and the total effective rate was 72.41%.Statistical analysis showed that the curative effect of Shu-Mu-Point combination group was similar to that of western medicine group,There were significant differences between two groups（P>0.05）.The curative effect of both groups was preferable to that of the conformist group,and There were significant differences between three groups（P<0.05）.（2）the main symptoms and signs of the three groups of children were significantly improved,among which there was no significant difference between the Shu-Mu-Point Combination group and the western medicine group（P>0.05）,and all of them were better than the conventional group（P<0.05）.（3）All three therapies can effectively improve the value of PEF and FEV1.The Shu-Mu-Point Combination group and the Western medicine group are better than the conventional group,the difference is significant（P<0.05）.There is no significant difference between the Shu-Mu-Point Combination group and the Western medicine group（P>0.05）.（4）during the 2-month follow-up,the number of asthma attacks in the Shu-Mu-Point Combination group was lower than that in the western medicine group and the conventional group（P<0.05）,and the difference between the conventional group and the western medicine group was significant（P>0.05）.Conclusion:1.The effect of acupoint application of"Shu-Mu-Point combination"on improving symptoms,signs and lung function of children with chronic persistent asthma is comparable to that of minister sodium chewable tablets,and both of them are better than the predictable application of acupoint application.2.The long-term curative effect of acupoint application of"Shu-Mu-Point combination"on the control of the number of asthma attacks is better than that of the nonglutinous oral chewable tablets and the conventional acupoint selection method,which are worthy of clinical promotion. |
