Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Cold And Humid Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation With Duhuo Parasitic Decoction Combined With Lumbar Traction

Objective:To observe the curative effect of Duhuo parasitic decoction combined with lumbar traction and lornoxicam combined with lumbar traction in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation,and to explore the role of Duhuo parasitic decoction combined with lumbar traction in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Methods:From June 2017 to November 2018,60 outpatients in the second area of bone and spine of Ruikang hospital affiliated to Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine were diagnosed as cold and wet type of lumbar disc herniation according to symptoms,signs,CT or MRI.The patients were randomly divided into treatment group(n=30)and control group(n=30).The treatment group was given Duhuo parasitic decoction,one dose a day,each dose was taken orally twice a day,while the control group was given lornoxicam orally,twice a day,once two tablets,both groups were treated with lumbar traction,the course of treatment was 4 weeks.According to the two groups before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment VAS score,JOA score,clinical improvement rate,TCM efficacy,adverse reactions and other criteria to judge the efficacy.The collected test data were analyzed by SPSS22.0 statistical software.the calibration standard a=0.05,P<0.05 indicated that the difference was statistically significant.Results: After 4 weeks of treatment,VAS score,JOA score,clinical improvement rate and curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine were improved in both groups.1.VAS score: After 4 weeks of treatment,the VAS scores of the treatment group and the control group were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the VAS score of the treatment group was significantly different from that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.JOA score: After 4 weeks of treatment,the JOA score of the treatment group and the control group was significantly higher than that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the JOA score of the treatment group was significantly different from that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Clinical improvement rate:After 4 weeks of treatment,the clinical improvement rate of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine: After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate was 93.33% in the treatment group and 83.33% in the control group.5.Safety observation: After 4 weeks of treatment,there were no adverse reactions in the treatment group and the control group.The treatment group was significantly different from that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Duhuo parasitic decoction combined with lumbar traction and lornoxicam combined with lumbar traction are effective in the treatment of cold and wet lumbar disc herniation.However,Duhuo parasitic decoction combined with lumbar traction is superior to lornoxicam combined with lumbar traction in improving low back pain,lumbar function,clinical improvement rate and curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine.Therefore,Duhuo parasitic decoction combined with lumbar traction in the treatment of cold and wet lumbar disc herniation has a good clinical efficacy and application value.
