Huanglong Zhike Granule In The Treatment Of Chronic Cough (Lung Dryness Due To Yin Deficiency) Randomized Controlled Clinical Study

Objective:Observed of HuangLong Zhike in the treatment of Chronic Cough(the lung-dryness syndrome due yin deficiency)efficacy,safety.Methods:From June 2017 to December 2017,this study collected the outpatient service of professor he chengshi,affiliated hospital of chengdu university of traditional Chinese medicine,of which a total of 90 cases were eligible for inclusion criteria.In the order of treatment,Randomly divided into experimental group(44 cases)and control group(46cases).The experimental group was treated with HuangLong Zhike granule,and the control group was treated with Compound Methoxyphenamine Capsule for 1 week.The efficacy and safety of HuangLong Zhike in the treatment of Chronic Cough(the lung-dryness syndrome due yin deficiency)were evaluated in four aspects: VAS visual scale,cough symptom score,TCM symptom score and LCQ scale.Results:(1)Comparison of VAS visual scale of Two groups:The differences were statistically significant in VAS visual scale before and after treatment in the experimental group(P<0.05).The differences were statistically significant in VAS visual scale before and after treatment in the control group(P<0.05);There was significant difference between the two groups before treatment.(2)Comparison between two groups of TCM syndromes:The differences were statistically significant in cough,coughing up phlegm,shortness of breath,itching,thirsty,constipation before and after treatment in the experimental group(P<0.05).The differences were statistically significant in cough,cough up phlegm and pruritus in the control group(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).(3)Comparison between two groups of cough symptom integral:The differences were statistically significant in day integral,night integral and total score in the experimental group(P<0.05).The differences were statistically significant in day integral,night integral and total score in the control group(P<0.05).The differences were not statistically significant in day integral,night integral and total score between two groups(P>0.05).The experimental group was effective in 32 cases(72.7%),1 case in effect(2.3%),2 cases in clinical control(4.5%),and 9 cases were invalid(20.5%).The control group was effective in 22 cases(50%),2 case in effect(4.5%),1 cases in clinical control(2.3%),and 19 cases were invalid(43.2%).(4)Comparison between two groups of LCQ scale points:The differences were statistically significant in physiological region,psychological region,social area and total score between before and after treatment in the experimental group.The differences were statistically significant in physiological region,psychological region,social area and total score between before and after treatment in the control group.The differences were not statistically significant in physiological region,psychological region,social area and total score between two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).Safety analysis:No obvious adverse reactions were observed in the experimental group.In the control group,two of the cases showed panic,dizziness and nausea,so the test was terminated.Conclusion: HuangLong Zhike granule can effectively improve the cough,as well as the symptoms such as coughing up phlegm,shortness of breath,itching,thirsty,constipation of the chronic cough(the lung-dryness syndrome due yin deficiency),At the same time,it can obviously improve the quality of life of patients,and no obvious adverse reactions were observed during the use.
