Clinical Research Of Qingxuan Runjiang Zhike Pills In The Treatment Of Chronic Cough(Syndrome Of Yin Deficiency And Lung Dryness)

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and the relationship between the efficacy and time of Qingxuanrun Jiangzhike Pill in the treatment of chronic cough(syndrome of yin deficiency and lung dryness),and to evaluate the safety of this test.Methods: A total of 100 patients who met the inclusion criteria were selected from the outpatient Department of Lung Disease of Qingdao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to December 2022 and randomly divided into 2 groups with 50 patients in each group.The control group was treated with compound methoxamine capsules,and the treatment group was treated with Qingxuanrunjiangzhike pills on the basis of the control group.The treatment time of both groups was 2 weeks.The cough symptom scores and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were compared before treatment and after 3d,7d and 14 d.The improvement of TCM syndromes such as cough,sputum,wheezing and dryness of mouth and throat were compared between the two groups.The total effective rate and control rate of the two groups were compared after 3d,7d and 14 d.Results: In the treatment group,4 cases fell off and 3 cases were eliminated.In the control group,5 cases were fell and 3 cases were eliminated.There were 43 cases in the treatment group and 42 cases in the control group.1.Cough symptom scores: The scores of the two groups after 3 days,7days and 14 days were compared with those before treatment,all P < 0.001,indicating that the two groups were effective in improving the cough symptoms of chronic cough(Yin deficiency and lung dryness syndrome).The scores after treatment were lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P < 0.001),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving cough symptoms.2.TCM syndrome scores: The scores of the two groups after 3d,7d and14 d were compared with those before treatment,all P < 0.001,indicating that the two groups were effective in improving TCM syndroms of chronic cough(Yin deficiency and lung dryness syndrome).In the comparison of single TCM syndromes,the comparison between the two groups of cough,phlegm,dry mouth and pharyngeal dryness,P < 0.01,indicating that the treatment group is better than the control group in improving cough,phlegm and dry mouth and pharyngeal dryness.The comparison of wheezing symptoms between the two groups showed that there was no difference between the two groups in improving wheezing symptoms.3.Curative effect of cough symptom: in the treatment group,the 3-day control rate was 2.3% and the total effective rate was 55.8%.After 7 days of treatment,the control rate was 18.6% and the total effective rate was81.4%.After 14 days of treatment,the control rate was 53.5% and the total effective rate was 90.7%.In the control group,the 3-day control rate was0% and the total effective rate was 28.6%.After 7 days of treatment,the control rate was 4.8% and the total effective rate was 57.1%.After 14 days of treatment,the control rate was 26.2% and the total effective rate was 83.3%.The control penetrance and total effective rate of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group at 3d,7d and 14 d,P <0.001.4.The curative effect of TCM syndromes was as follows: in the treatment group,the 3-day control rate was 2.3%,and the total effective rate was44.2%.After 7 days of treatment,the control rate was 20.9% and the total effective rate was 76.7%.After 14 days of treatment,the control rate was60.4% and the total effective rate was 88.4%.In the control group,the 3-day control rate was 0% and the total effective rate was 19.0%.After 7days of treatment,the control rate was 9.5% and the total effective rate was 52.4%.After 14 days of treatment,the control rate was 26.2% and the total effective rate was 69.0%.The control penetrance and total effective rate of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group at3 d,7d and 14 d,P < 0.001.5.Safety: During the treatment,1 patient in the control group developed mild nausea,and the discomfort disappeared spontaneously after drug withdrawal.The other patients had no adverse reactions during the treatment period,and there were no significant abnormal changes in basic vital signs,liver and kidney function before and after treatment.Conclusion: Qingxuan Runjiang zhike pills can effectively improve the cough symptoms of patients with chronic cough(Yin deficiency lung dryness syndrome),and improve the traditional Chinese medicine syndromes such as expectoration,dry mouth and throat.The total effective rate of 3 days,7days and 14 days were better than the control group.Western medicine combined with Qing Xuanrunjiang Zhike pills can achieve better efficacy in treating chronic cough(syndrome of yin deficiency and lung dryness).
