To Observe The Clinical Efficacy Of Pinellia And Magnolia Bark Decoction Combined With Acupoint Magnetic Therapy In The Treatment Of The Qi And Sputum Blocking Type Of Throat Paralysis

Objective: Based on the theory of Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome differentiation and the meridian system,this thesis preliminary discuss its mechanism of action and provide reference for Chinese medicine treat throat paralysis by observing the clinical efficacy and safety of pinellia magnolia bark decoction combined with acupoint magnetic therapy and pinellia magnolia bark decoction in the treatment of the Qi and sputum blocking type of throat paralysis.Methods: 60 outpatients came from the department of ENT,Teaching Hospital of Chengdou University of TCM.60 outpatients were stochastically divided into treatment group 30 cases and control group 30 cases.As for treatment group,every patient was treated using pinellia and magnolia bark decoction once a day.At the same time,acupoint magnetic therapy was also adopted as a cure for this illness every other day.As for control group,pinellia magnolia bark decoction once a day were only used to treat the illness.The period of treatment was 4 weeks for treatment group and control group.During the period treatment,recording the questionnaire which contained two groups,symptoms and signs before treatment,1 weeks after treatment,2 weeks after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment.Finally,the clinical curative effects of the two groups were evaluated by statistical analysis.Results: 1 weeks after treatment,the total effective rate in the treatment group was 51.72%,the control group was 25%,the two groups had differences in terms of pharynx itching,pharynx swelling and tightness,irritability(p<0.05);2 weeks after treatment,the total effective rate in the treatment group was 58.62%,the control group was 53.57%,the two groups had differences in terms of pharynx swelling and tightness,irritability(p<0.05);4 weeks after treatment,the total effective rate in the treatment group was 82.76%,the control group was 60.71%,the two groups had differences in terms of pharynx dryness,sense of pharyngeal obstruction,pharynx swelling and tightness,irritability,hiccups and belching(p<0.05).Conclusions: The results of this study shows that the treatments of two groups could significantly improve the clinical symptoms and signs of the patients with noobvious adverse reactions.However,the method of using pinellia and magnolia bark decoction combined with acupoint magnetic therapy can reach a more remarkable curative effect,which shows the whole body oral medication with pharynx partly treatment have obvious advantages.It is worthy of further research and application in clinical practice.
