Comprehensive Intervention Of Traditional Chinese Medicine In Mild And Moderate Myopia To Observe The Long-term Clinical Efficacy

Objective:Through the clinical study of early discovery:Auricular-plaster combined with Jinshikang Oral Liquid can improve uncorrected visual acuity of juvenile myopia,stable diopter of myopia.By the method therapy with a term of one year and follow-up visits of one year,this research continues to explore the long term clinical curative effect of juvenile myopia in the base of the previous basis.Methods:100 cases of 8-14 years old patients diagnosed with mild and moderate myopia were aged 8~14 years(194eyes)were randomly divided into the control group of 50 patients(99 eyes)and intervention group of 49 patients(95 eyes),the treatment of control group were myopia prevention education,conventional optometry and eye exercises,and intervention group on the basis of the control group with Auricular-plaster and Jinshikang oral liquid.A 3-month course of treatment,a total of4 cycles,after the end of treatment,the patients were seen for follow-up visits after one year to evaluate the long term curative effect of two groups.Results:1.The Comparison of different degree of myopia,two groups of mild myopia and two groups of moderate myopia,their diopters were increased,and the diopters of control group increased significantly higher than those in the intervention group(P<0.01).2.After 12 months of follow-up visits,the uncorrected visual acuity of the intervention and the control group decreased to a different degree,without statistically significant(P>0.05).3.The two groups’ ocular and systemic clinical symptoms improved after 12 months of follow-up visits,significantly(P<0.01),and the intervention group of ocular and systemic symptoms improvement(total efficiency 46.04%)was significantly higher than the control group(14.9%),with statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusions:1.Auricular-plaster combined Oral Liquid therapy with a Term of one year and one year of follow-up visit can effectively control the progression of myopia and slow the growth rate of myopia.2.Auricular-plaster combined Oral Liquid therapy with a Term of one year and one year of follow-up visit can effectively improve the local and systemic symptoms in young patients with mild and moderate myopia.3.Through the clinical study of early discovery,comprehensive prevention and treatment in mild and moderate myopia with traditional Chinese Medicine are efficient.
