| ObjectiveThe quality of life scale of depressive disorder with TCM characteristics and connotations was preliminarily prepared,to provide scientific evaluation criteria for the clinical efficacy of TCM in treating depression,and to evaluate comprehensively and objectively the improvement of TCM's quality of life after the treatment of depression.Method1.This study is based on the tabulation principle of the international quality of life scale.Under the guidance of TCM theory,the theoretical framework is constructed.The literature law is used comprehensively,the related books are consulted,the Expert Group and the topic group's opinion is widely heard,the scale entry pool is established,and from the language,the logic angle,the entry is initially screened,optimizes,the preliminary survey scale is formulated.Based on WHO's definition of quality of life,taking the psychological,physiological and social dimensions of life quality assessment as the framework,the scale is divided into three dimensions.2.60 patients with depression were selected to conduct a scale survey to collect data from the field survey,adopt frequency distribution method,discrete trend method,correlation coefficient method,stepwise regression method and factor analysis to select the primary items,further optimize the scale structure,and finally form the formal scale,and conduct performance assessment on the reliability,validity,reactivity and feasibility of this scale.Result1.Entry screening:(1)Frequency distribution: The corresponding entry response rate for each dimension is 100%,and the frequency of any two of the five answer options for each entry is less than 10%.(2)Discrete Trend Method: The standard deviation of <1.000 is listed as a deletion entry,and 15 are selected.(3)Correlation coefficient method: If the absolute value of correlation coefficient r<0.5 is selected as the deletion criterion,then there are 6 deletion entries.Stepwise regression method: Using the total score of the scale as the dependent variable,and the score of each item as the independent variable for regression analysis,all items entered the regression model.Factor analysis: When the load factor is less than 0.4,the deletion criteria are 13 items.Considering comprehensively,at least two methods of deletion are used as criteria,and a total of 8 items are deleted.The quality of life scale of depression in TCM was preliminarily established,which included three dimensions of psychology,physiology and society and 25 items.2.Scale reliability evaluation: The test-retest reliability of the TCM quality of life scale for depression is 0.996.The correlation coefficient of all dimensions is above 0.9,which has good stability across time.The split-half reliability of the scale is 0.847.The half-reliability of each dimension of the psychological dimension,physiological dimension,and social dimension is 0.865,0.771,and 0.679,and it has good cross-entry stability.Internal consistency reliability is expressed by Krangbach coefficient,each dimension is between 0.84-0.99,which indicates that the internal structure of the scale is good.3.Validity of the scale:(1)Content validity: This study refers to domestic and international quality of life scales,combined with traditional Chinese medicine theory,consulting relevant experts,and extensively collecting data.Review and modify from multiple angles,the production process is strictly regulated,and it can reflect the special problems of depression,so it has a good content validity.(2)Structure validity: The correlation coefficient(0.54-0.65)between each dimension of the scale is smaller than the correlation coefficient(0.75-0.95)between each dimension and the total scale,indicating that the structural validity is better.(3)Calibration validity: With the accepted SF-36 scale as the standard,the patients were measured at the same time,the total score of the scale was statistically analyzed,and the correlation coefficient of total score was 0.636,which was statistically significant(p<0.01),and it was considered that the two scales had strong correlation.4.Scale response: The quality of life of patients taking Chinese medicine for three weeks will be measured before and after,and the results will be paired test.The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the three dimensions of psychology,physiology and society,and the total score.It can be considered that the scale has a good degree of responsiveness.5.Feasibility of the scale: In the survey process,the recovery rate of the scale was 100%,and the average time per scale was 15-20 minutes.The language was easy to understand and had good feasibility.ConclusionAccording to the method of the international quality of life scale and the theory of Traditional Chinese medicine,the quality of life scale of depression was preliminarily developed,and it had good reliability,validity,reactivity and feasibility.The scale can be used to evaluate the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of depression,which is helpful to improve the quality of life of patients with depression by medicine. |
