Objective To investigate the changes of quality of life before and after total thyroidectomy?TT?in patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma?PTC?and its influencing factors.Methods:1.One hundred and six patients with thyroid carcinoma?TC?that underwent TT from June 2016 to May 2019 in hospital were studied.Among them,77 cases?72.64%?were female and 29 cases?27.36%?were male.Their ages ranged from 17 to68 years old, with an average age of?40±13.2?years old.2.The clinical data of sex, age, educational level, family economic status, whether neck lymph node dissection was performed and whether I131therapy was performed after operation were collected in the experimental group.3.In the study,FACT-H&N scale was repeatedly used to evaluate the quality of life of patients in the experimental group before and 1 month,3months and 6 months after TT,and SDS and SAS were used to analyze and evaluate the psychological state of patients before and after TT..4.Statistics were made on the total scores of questionnaires in various fields and scales in various time periods respectively, and comparisons were made.5.The obtained data are input and summarized by Excel 2003,and the scores and total scores in various fields are calculated. The scores are expressed in terms of relative numbers.SPSS 16.0 statistical software is used to carry out ANOVA processing on the data, with statistical significance P<0.05.Results:The quality of life of patients with thyroid cancer after total thyroidectomy decreased in 1 month and 3 months after operation, the difference was statistically significant,?P<0.05?then gradually increased, and returned to the preoperative level in6 months after operation?P>0.05?.In the analysis of objective factors affecting the quality of life of patients, there was no statistical significance in education level,131I adjuvant therapy after operation and family economic situation?P>0.05?,while the age, gender,CLND had statistical significance in the impact on the quality of life of thyroid cancer patients after operation?P<0.05?.There was no significant change in SAS and SDS scores before and after operation?P>0.05?.Conclusion:For young, female and undergoing neck lymph node dissection patients with papillary thyroid cancer, clinicians should strengthen communication before operation, select small incision during operation,Encourage patients to exercise after operation, and regulate blood calcium and thyroid hormone levels to improve quality of life.
