Objective:To discuss the clinical features and treatment of acute intermittent porphyria(AIP)associated with syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion(SIADH).Methods:The clinical features,treatment and prognosis of 1 patient with recurrent premenstrual attacks of AIP were analyzed by retrospectively based on literatures.Result:The patient treated with gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist(GnRH-a)had no acute attack over a 6-month follow-up period.Conclusion:GnRH-a treatment can ameliorate enstrual-cycle-related attacks of porphyria with SIADH.
