Bronchial asthma,or asthma,is a pediatric clinical common disease, which is recurrent and always seriously affects children’s physical and mental health.Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of the airway, which is involved in many kinds of cell and cell components. The pathogenesis is extremely complex and is related to many factors, which has not all been known. Therefore,in the treatment of this disease, western medicine can only be controlled for the purpose of long-term continuous use of drugs, which brings great economic and psychological pressure to the children and their families. As a traditional medicine in China, traditional Chinese medicine has rich experience in treating asthma, and has obtained obvious clinical curative effect. Objective: To study the clinical effect of Ma Long Ding Chuan granules with the western routine treatment on treating acute asthmatic attack in children(Syndrome of retention of phlegm-heat in the lung). Methods: We chose 60 children with the acute asthmatic attack(Syndrome of retention of phlegm-heat in the lung)who had seen doctor in March 2016 to December 2017 in the Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital of Hebei Province. They were randomly divided into 2 groups, treatment group and control group 30 cases each.Children of control group were given budesonide, terbutaline aerosol inhalation and c quattro oral, and children of treatment group were on the basis of the control group given Ma Long Ding Chuan granules oral(granules, daily 1 agent, take it in morning and evening). The course of treatment was 7 days. The total effective rate of treatment, the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)score, the pulmonaryfunction(FEV1,PEF)and the number of peripheral blood eosinophils before and after treatment of the two groups of children were observed.Statistical software was used to compare and analyze the data to evaluate the therapeutic effect.Results:1.Comparison of total effective rateOne case was cured in the treatment group,17 cases showed effect,12 cases were effective,0 cases were invalid, and the total effective rate was100.00%.In the control group,0 cases were recovered,10 showed effective effect,18 cases were effective, and 2 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was 93.33%.After wilcoxon rank and test, the difference of efficacy between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the total effective rate of treatment group was higher than that in the control group.2.Comparison of TCM scoreAfter t test, the results showed that there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in the treatment before treatment(P >0.05),so we can compare the two groups. There were statistically significant differences between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that western medicine routine treatment and combination therapy are effective in the treatment of asthma attack in children, and the combination therapy is more effective in improving the symptoms and signs of children.3.Comparison of the pulmonary function(FEV1,PEF)After t test, there was no statistically significant difference in FEV1 and PEF between the two groups(P>0.05),which could be compared.FEV1 and PEF group differences before and after the treatment are statistically significant(P < 0.05),after treatment between groups was statistically significant difference(P < 0.05),suggesting the conventional western medicine routine treatment and combination therapy in pediatric asthma attack stage lung function improved have curative effect, and combination therapy effect is more obvious.4.Comparison of peripheral blood eosinophil numberBefore treatment by t test, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05),in the two groups before and after treatment group differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05),after treatment between groups was statistically significant difference(P < 0.05),and the treatment group is better than that of control group, the western medicine routine treament and combination therapy in reducing the pediatric asthma episodes peripheral eosinophil numer have curative effect, and combination therapy effect is more obvious. Conclusion: Ma Long Ding Chuan granules with the western routine treatment on treating acute asthmatic attack in children(Syndrome of retention of phlegm-heat in the lung)to raise the total effective rate,to improve the TCM syndrome integral,to improve pulmonary function(FEV1 and PEF)and peripheral blood eosinophilia numerical reduction effect is superior to pure western medicine routine treatment, and is an effective method for clinical treatment of infantile asthma.
