Study On The Clinical Efficacy Of Liujunzi Decoction In The Treatment Of The Stable Phase COPD Patients With Lung And Spleen Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis

Objective:To observe the symptoms,signs,lung function,difficulty in breathing(mMRC),quality of life assessment(CAT),and 6-minute walking distance before and after treatment of Liujunzi Decoction in stable stage COPD patients with lung and spleen qi deficiency and blood stasis and evaluate the clinical effect of Liujunzi Decoction.Methods: 62 patients with lung and spleen qi deficiency and blood stasis of COPD during the stabilization period between 50 to 70 years old were enrolled in this study.In a random way,31 patients were treated as control group and 31 were treated as treatment group.The control group was given routine medication.In the treatment group,Liujunzi Decoction was added to conventional drug therapy.The total course of treatment is 8weeks.After the treatment,we analyzed the differences in symptoms,signs,ungfunction mMRC score,CAT cale,6-minute walking distance in bothe groups.We explored the role of Liujunzi Decoction in patients with COPD stable phase of deficiency of both lung and spleen,blood stasis.Results:(1)Sixty-two patients were randomly divided into two groups,31 patients as control group,31 as treatment group.Throughout the study,two cases were lost in the treatment group and one in the control group.Finally,We analyzed the clinical data of 59 patients.(2)After the treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 82.8%,while the total effective rate of the control group was 70.0%,the total effective rate of the treatment group was better than the control group.Two groups of cough,asthma and shortness of breath were less than before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).The treatment group also improved the expectoration,fatigue,deficiency of food,stool abnormity and other TCM symptoms(P<0.05).(3)After the treatment,the FEV1/pred%,FEV1/FVC% of both groups were improved(P<0.05).but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(4)Two groups of mMRC score and CAT score were less than before treatment,and the 6 minutes walking distance were higher than before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Liujunzi Decoction can significantly reduce clinical symptoms,improve lung function,improve the quality of life,and increase the exercise tolerance in patients with COPD stable phase of lung and spleen qi deficiency and blood stasis.
