Analysis Of International Exchange Programs Based Humane Quality Education For Nursing Undergraduates

ObjectiveTaking the "Yangtze University--Ngee Ann Polytechnic Overseas Immersion Program(OIP)" as an example,this paper investigates the present situation of humanistic quality of nursing undergraduates participating in OIP and puts forward the optimization scheme of humanistic quality education in the OIP,then analyzes the application effect of the implementation of the reform program in the OIP.MethodsThe nursing undergraduates who took part in the OIP project in 2014 and 2015 were set as the control group.Questionnaire surveys were conducted before and after the implementation of the OIP project through the General Information Survey,the“Current Situation Survey of Humanistic Quality Education” and the “Humanistic Care Capacity Assessment Scale”.The nursing undergraduates who took part in the OIP project in 2016 and 2017 were set as the experimental group.Before and after the implementation of the project optimization program,the same questionnaire was used to conduct a questionnaire survey to compare the humanities quality education and humanistic care ability of the two groups.Result1.The results of the survey on nursing students participating in the OIP program from 2014 to 2015 show that 75.93% of nursing students rarely feel the concern of their families,42.59% of nursing students feel less concern of friends,and 42.59% of nursing students Less of the student's concern,74.07% of the nursing students are not very clear about what the humanities are,and 83.33% of the students think that the humanities quality is important for the development of nursing students.9.26% of the nursing students think that their schools pay attention to humanistic education.14.81% of nursing students are satisfied with the current humanities courses offered by schools.The results of the 2016-2017 nurse survey showed that 44.44% of the nursing students rarely felt the concern of the family,31.11% of the nursing students rarely felt the concern of the friends,and 22.22% of the nursing students rarely felt the concern of the classmates.,53.33% of nursing students are not very clear what is the humanities quality,88.89% of nursing students think that the humanities quality is important for the development of nursing students,82.22% of nursing students believe that the school attaches importance to humanistic education,20.00% of nursing students are satisfied with the current school Humanities courses opened.2.The two groups were investigated by Caring Ability Inventory(CAI):(1)Before the start of the OIP project,there was no statistically significant difference in baseline scores between the two groups of CAI total scores(P>0.05).(2)After the end of OIP project:(1)The total score of CAI in the control group was higher than the OIP item,and there was significant difference between the cognitivedimension and the courage dimension(P?0.01),indicating that participation in the OIP project had an influence on the students' humanistic care ability;(2)The total score of the experimental group was higher than that before the OIP project,and the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05);(3)The total score of CAI in the experimental group was higher than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P ? 0.01).ConclusionParticipation in the OIP project has a positive impact on the improvement of nursing students' humanistic qualities.Nursing international exchange programs can be used as one of the complementary ways for nursing students' humanistic quality education.Both sides of the nursing international exchange program aim at improving the level of humanistic quality of nursing students and jointly design optimization.The content of the project,the organization form,the way of teaching,etc.,can effectively improve nursing students' humanistic care ability and the level of nursing humanistic qualities.
