Since 2009, China became the largest Auto producer and market of the world, automotive industry of China reached great achievements in the world, China's auto industry obtained great leap forward growth, huge demand given all Auto makers great business opportunities. Meanwhile, all Auto Makers should face the huge pressure from competitors. In the background of the auto industry increasing competition, the cost control & management of automotive commodity purchasing will become one of key factor, which impact the automakers' market competitiveness in the future. For Automakers, the cost of purchased commodities account for around 75% of the total cost for each vehicle. The pros and cons of the cost management in commodity purchasing will reflect business management level of Auto maker directly, and will affect their product competitiveness and profit ability directly.First of all, this thesis start from brief introduction of Purchasing, cost, purchasing cost as well as cost analysis and cost elements; then refer to the research results of the purchasing cost management. Briefly review the present research situation about purchasing cost control of automotive commodities both at home and abroad. Then the author introduces some purchasing cost improvement methods.Then, this paper introduces the content of commodity purchasing cost management and purchasing cost management methods used in V automotive company during different purchasing phases. And through the analysis and research, find out the problems and causes in the purchasing process, commodity purchasing cost management and purchasing cost management methods in V Company.After that, the author combine the research results of automotive commodity purchasing cost management and cost control methods with many years working experience about commodity purchasing cost control in China purchasing center of the V Company. Analyze and optimize the problems of commodity purchasing cost control one by one, then try to look for the ideas to optimize purchasing process and decrease commodity purchasing cost.This thesis study the theories of automotive commodity purchasing cost control, then combine the practical experience about commodity purchasing cost control optimization and cost saving ideas. Found out optimization and cost saving idea and method about commodity purchasing cost control in commodity life cycle. In this sense, this article for the automobile parts procurement cost control work to have certain realistic meaning and reference value.
