In the network economy, with the service integrator who enjoys powerful integration capability as the core, huge amounts of professional service providers are realizing large-scale ecological polymerization on the network platform. They are creating the service supply chain, a virtual business organization with strong competitive advantage and better flexibility comparing with large enterprises. With more and more diversified customer requirements and more and more fierce competition in market, establishing new value growth power through cross-border collaboration has become an important strategic consensus in all walks of life. Clearly, knowledge collaboration in the Knowledge Economy Era is the most important part of strategic collaboration in service supply chain. However, due to concerns about the loss of the core competitive advantage and obstacles of potential conflicts of interest among participants, knowledge collaboration in service supply chain bristles with difficulties. In order to resolve the predicaments in knowledge collaboration, this paper emphatically studies how participants in service supply chain establish knowledge collaboration mechanism and implement knowledge collaboration governance, aimed at enhancing the knowledge collaboration efficiency in service supply chain.First, in view of the knowledge collaboration being an innovative cooperation, this paper provides a thorough analysis of the characteristics of knowledge collaboration in service supply chain from three perspectives of features and process of knowledge collaboration, status and decision modes of key nodes in the cooperation. And we have built a knowledge collaboration model based on different decision models of the service integrator, and discussed knowledge collaboration mechanism in service supply chain under different organizational forms. Secondly, given the cooperation pattern of knowledge collaboration and professional service, we have given a thorough analysis of the characteristics and governance needs of two kinds of cooperation, made a suitable combination of incentive mechanisms under the strategy of divide and conquer, and built a relational governance model in service supply chain under the background of knowledge collaboration. And then the theoretical model is verified by a case study based on Third Partner. Above all, from the perspective of the knowledge collaboration leader——service integrator, this article constructs two models based on the study of characteristics and governance needs of knowledge col-laboration in service supply chain. The results offer the service integrator and service providers some reference for knowledge collaboration practice, and a scientific basis for knowledge collaboration governance in service supply chain.
