With the advantages of its response speed,transportation quality,time and transportation cost,the emergence of modern logistics industry has brought challenge to the traditional logistics industry.Considering that the traditional logistics management and its dispatch theory and technology is difficult to meet the actual needs of the logistics industry,the more advanced idea of logistics information system will gradually become its mainstay in the informatization development of modern logistics enterprises.The function of logistics information system application includes order management,dispatch and distribution,transportation route optimization,track and trace,personnel management,vehicle management,cost settlement and related data processing functions,etc.The application of the system can effectively reduce the transportation cost;simplify the management process,and then provide support for decision making and management.The paper,focusing on logistics information system as the research object,overall and comprehensively analyze the advantages and disadvantages of some main logistics management systems adopted in the domestic and international enterprises based on further understanding business process,and conduct a summary about design ideas,emphasis,business processes and critical functions of the research and development of main domestic logistics management system.The research and development of system mentioned in the paper employs the relational database and the sound system structure,and analyzes,designs,develops and tests the logistics information system.The work scope of the research and development system accordingly includes:(1)Investigate and research the business process of logistics industry.That is to conduct further survey and analyze the actual configuration,involved in the whole procedures related to management staff,drivers,logistics personnel as well as couriers.Then,optimize the whole process according to various business and scale of enterprises.(2)Research the fundamental software technology system employed in the development of the system research.Study its basic theory and knowledge about demand analysis,system design,software coding,function test and system deployment development etc.related to information management system.Comprehensive research is made about SQLServer relational database and software testing based on the software architecture,J2EE technology platform.System user interaction layer also fully take the user experience into consideration.Asynchronous communication is used to implement the interaction between the server and interface,to reduce user's waiting time,and increase the reaction and sensitivity.After many tests and trial operations,the system achieved expected goal that is to be easy operation,friendly interface,fast reaction,can effectively improve the efficiency of enterprises in business management.
