With the world accelerating process of economic integration further, China's accession to the WTO (World Trade Organization, WTO) and the deepening of China's reform and opening up, the colony of logistic enterprise are gradually forming and the market of logistic is growning up increasingly. The perfact logistics management information system build by logistic enterprise is good for the health and rapid development of logistic industry. This thesis bases on the basic principles of modern logistic, the method of logistic management and the development thinking of logistic management information system has been studied, appling the methodology of information systems and the theory of network disgin, a logistics management information system based on B/S architecture is developed in accordance with the software engineering thinking and information technology. The main results are as follows:1. Analysed the demand of logistics management information system based on the principles of modern logistic theory and the fact instance of ligistic enterprise. The flow of system development is finished according to the software engineering thinking and Rational Rose is used as an assistant.2. UML is applicated at the analysis and design of system feasibility, demand and functional requirements of each module.3. The implementation techniques of a multi-tiered architecture with performance layer, business logic layer, data services layer are analyzed. The key technical issues about using Java technology to develop logistics management information system are solved.4. Logistics Management Information System based on B/S structure is tested to verify if the functions of the system is achieve the desired objectives.
