Research On The Ethical Misconduct And Its Governance Of Network Self-Publishing In China

As the widespread of the Internet and the continuous developing of digital applied techniques,the online self-publishing has emerged and showed great vitality.In domestic,more and more online self-publishing platform appeared,the numbers of authors who utilize online self-publishing and the publications through it is increasing in recent years.Online self-publishing is becoming a part of the field of publishing.However,during the fast developing process of the on line self-publishing,some severe ethical misconducts occurred.In this text,the root of those ethical misconduct was analyzed and on the base of the theory of social duty,the strategy to govern the ethical misconduct in the field of online self-publishing was discussed.In the first part of this text,the expression and the damage of the ethical misconduct was analyzed,include utilitarianism of the online self-publishing,spreading of vulgar productions,the moral behavior deviation of the online self-publishing;the pollution to the domestic online culture,the restriction to the healthy development of publishing,the reduction to the quality of life of the people.In the second part,the root of those ethical misconduct was analyzed,which are mainly three aspects:the dimension of publishers,the dimension of society and the dimension of technical.The dimension of publishers indicates the loss of identity of the online self-publishers,the lack of professional ethics for the editors of the online self-publishing platform;the second dimension indicates the lack of construction and education of domestic online self-publishing ethics;the last dimension indicates the weakness of "check" link of online self-publishing.At the last part of this text,on the two aspects of“self-discipline”and "heteronomy",the strategy to govern the ethical misconducts in the field of online self-publishing was given.On one hand,the self-discipline of the online self-publishers,the education to the editors of the online self-publishing platform and the idealism of online self-publishing should be reinforced,on the other hand,at the aspects of heteronomy,the ethics of online self-publishing should be established,the ethics committee of online self-publishing should be assembled and the ethics evaluation and the investigation should be reinforced.
