The characteristics of the quartz crystal oscillator is developing to small size,low power consumption,high frequency and high stability.To minimize the quartz crystal oscillator products further is a huge challenge.In the past decades,the manufacture process of quartz crystal vibrator is always using mechanical lapping process.However,it is a bottleneck to using traditional mechanical lapping to processing smaller quartz crystal vibrator.Aim to the difficult for the traditional mechanical lapping to fabricate small size quartz crystal vibrator,developing new type process to the miniaturized quartz crystal vibrator design and manufacture is imperative.In this thesis,the main objective of research is to design a key components,which is miniaturized quartz vibrator.After an in-depth analysis of working theoretical basis and technical principle of quartz crystal vibrator.A new type of miniaturized quartz oscillator was proposed,in this paper.The main contents are as follows:1.Based on analyzing and discussing the basic theory and working principle of quartz crystal oscillator.A kind of quartz oscillator with a convex structure was put forward.It has many advantages such as simple design parameters,high machining accuracy,small size and low production cost for this kind of quartz oscillator.2.The resonant response of the miniaturized quartz oscillator was simulated and analyzed by the method of finite element analysis,and the relationship between the parasitic vibration and the parameters of the convex was analyzed by adjusting and designing the height and size of the convex.The design of 2520 size quartz oscillator(F=19.2MHz)was completed.3.In this paper the characteristics of the processing technology of traditional quartz vibrator and Japan QMEMS vibrator was analyzed.It has the advantages of simple process and low production cost.Based on the processing of 2520 size quartz oscillator(F=19.2MHz),the completed vibrator meet the parameters of design spec.4.The quartz vibrator was packaged into a oscillator,then the performance of quartz oscillator was tested.The performance includes temperature frequency characteristic parameters,resonant frequency and resonant resistance,which meets therequirements of practical application.
