A Study Of Factors On The Voluntary Choice Behavior In College Entrance Examination

With the increasing competition in China's higher education market,people's attention to the college entrance examination is also increasing,so how do students choose college entrance examination volunteer and how do colleges and universities choose good students are the burning issues of under the new circumstance.To study the College Entrance Voluntary choice behavior and the influencing factors is necessary,and has the practical far-reaching and theoretical significance.By combing the relevant literature at home and abroad,according to the needs of study,the researcher compiled the "volunteer choice of college entrance examination of questionnaire survey ",and the questionnaire was distributed to more than 1800 freshmen in eight colleges.The statistical software SPSS21.0 was used for analysis,and in order to make the article is more substantial,case interviews were supplemented.Through the analysis of the current situation of College Entrance Voluntary from the aspects of the preference of the third grade of senior high school' college entrance examination,the final choice of college entrance examination and the current situation of College Entrance Voluntary registration process,we find that the third grade of senior high school tend to choose their own university entrance exam volunteer according to their own interests,but in the final selection,a lot of students choose to listen to their parents,instead of their own interests;In the final choice,they were more clearer to the college entrance examination volunteer than when they just got into the third grade.;In the aspect of satisfaction,only 35%of the students are more satisfied with their choices;Most of students are not understand the college entrance examination volunteer filling process until the third grade;The way of acquiring the information is mainly from teachers,network,family and other aspects.By factors analysis and research,we can divide the 37 variables into 5 factors,they are family factors,university factors,national social factors and economic factors.Through the descriptive analysis,it shows that the students pay the most attention to the "college entrance examination" in the personal factors;pay the most attention to the "parents expect" in the family factor;pay the most attention to the "employment situation" in the university factor;pay the most attention to "employment environment " in the national social factors Situation "and in the economic factors,they are most focus on" tuition,living expenses." By means of single factor analysis of variance,independent sample T test,the result shows that the influencing factors of college entrance examination volunteer had significant differences in sex,urban and rural areas,ethnic groups and colleges,and there was no significant difference between age and students.On the gender difference,the rural students pay more attention to the economic factors,and the urban students pay more attention to the individual factors.On the ethnic differences,the ethnic minorities pay more attention to the influencing factors than the Han students.Through the above analysis,there are several suggestions should be put forward.Colleges and universities should establish long-term relationship with parents,students and high school teachers;Enhancing the promotion of the government in respect of economic aid measures;Providing good employment environment for students after graduation;Adding tutors andelective courses;Strengthening the propaganda education and career planning education;Helping students choose the college entrance examination volunteer rationally,avoiding conformity and blindly choice.
