The purpose of studying on the disaster history in Yuelu Press version high school history textbook is to make some suggestions for writing textbooks and the teaching progress.The disaster history in Yuelu Press version high school history textbook include two parts,the Chinese history and world history,which are showed either in the body of the book or in the extended section.The drought in Greece Tierra Island,the storm surge in Cape of Good Hope,the epidemic disaster in the New World,the flood near Tennessee Valley,the Black Death in medieval Europe,the ecological crisis caused by economic globalization are showed in the world history part.On the other part,the Chinese history part contains the narcotic before Opium War,man-made and natural disasters before Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement,the war disaster caused by Japanese war of aggression to China,floods in ancient China,the pestilence and famine in the Twice Jin dynasties,the natural disaster in the Great Leap Forward Campaign,the earthquake in the East Han Dynasty and ancient Chinese agricultural disaster relief ideas and so on.Through combing the disaster history in Yuelu Press version high school history textbook,we can find that the book has many advantages,such as large time span,wide geographical range,many tapes of natural disaster and involving a wide field,etc.However,it also exist some flaws and deficiencies on the whole.Although it involve a wide field,each part of the content is less and simple.The knowledge about disaster history is used to understand other content,while all disasters are not clearly stated the type of disaster and are collectively called man-made and natural disasters.Focusing on these issues about disaster history existed in YUELU Press version high school history textbook,we make some suggestions.In writingtextbook,the disaster history can be further enriched and perfected.The history can be showed according to the order of historical development and the inappropriate content for the disaster teaching can be deleted.Some typical disaster history should be added and the elective textbook about disaster history can be written.To the history teacher,they can make full use of their subject literacy and mine knowledge about disaster history to produces special reports about typical disaster history on the base of textbooks.In the teaching progress,teachers should optimize instructional design to carrying out effective teaching activities about the disaster history.
