Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Infertility Due To Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Of Kidney Deficiency And Blood Stasis Type By The Combination Of The Periodic Therapy Of Traditional Chinese Medicine With Clomiphene Citrate

Purpose:To explore the clinical efficacy of the combination of the periodic therapy of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)with clomiphene citrate(CC)for the treatment of infertility due to polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type,in order to provide a new thought for clinical treatment of this disease.Method:Totally 72 PCOS patients were randomly divided into two group,with 36 cases in each group.Patients in the treatment group offered to take the periodic therapy of TCM on three different stages of menstruation from the first day of menstruation.From the first day of menstruation to the tenth day,patients taken Shaofu Zhuyu granules for 10 days,with two packs once time and three times a day.From the eleventh day to the 20 th day,Xufu Zhuyu oral liquid was been taken for 10 days,with two bottles once time and three times a day.From the 21 st day to the 30 th day,patients taken Peikun Wan,with one pack once time and two times a day.At the same time,patients received orally CC for 5 days from the fifth day of menstruation with once a day and 100 mg one time.The treatment lasted three menstruation and three month followed-up.Patients in the control group were only offered to take orally CC,the usage is as same as the treatment group.To observe two groups of patients with the improvement of TCM syndromes and the situation of ovulation and pregnancy.Then make the statistical analysis.Result:The clinical study showed that the difference of the two groups is significant(P< 0.05)in the improvement of TCM syndromes and on the clinical efficacy.According to the result of the rate of ovulation and pregnancy,the rate of ovulation and pregnancy of the treatment group is 80.41% and 20.59%,and the control group is 55.45% and 5.88%.The treatment group is better than the control group.Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of the combination of the periodic therapy of TCM with CC for the treatment of infertility due to PCOS of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type is better than the treatment only with CC.It can improve the situation of menstruation,as well as increase the rate of ovulation and pregnancy,so it is worth for clinical application.
