Clinical Study On Treatment Of Infertility Due To Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Diagnosed Deficiency Of Kidney And Blood Stasis Syndrome With Periodic Bu Shen Huo Xue And Clomifene

Objective To investigate the effect and mechanism of periodic Bu Shen Huo Xue and clomiphene in treating infertility due to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) diagnosed deficiency of kidney and blood stasis syndrome.Methods 60 patients with PCOS diagnosed deficiency of kidney and blood stasis syndrome were divided into two groups randomly. The Periodic Therapy of Bu Shen Huo Xue and clomiphene was given to treatment group including 30 patients. At the same time clomiphene was given to control group including 30 patients. The time of treatment is 9 months. Observe the pregnant rate, the changes of clinical symptoms and signs of TCM, serum hormones (FSH,LH,LH/ FSH,E2,TT)levels, changes of ovarian volume,endometrium and cervical mucus.Results The total is 27(one happens to OHSS, two exit halfway), the pregnant rate is 48.15% in treatment group, The total is 28(two happen to OHSS), the pregnant rate is 21.42% in control group, there is significant difference between them (P＜0.05). Total effective rate is 81.48% in treatment group, it is 53.7% in control group, there is significant difference between them (P＜0.05). After treatment the two groups can both decrease the levels of T,LH and LH/FSH, but there is significant difference between two groups after treatment (P＜0.05). Conclusion The periodic therapy of Bu Shen Huo Xue and clomifene can work through regulating the unbalanced metabolization of endocrine secretion, decreasing ovarian volume, ameliorating cervical mucus and promoting endometria growth and development, so as to accelerate follicle growing and induct ovulating and so raise pregnancy rate. So choosing this method to treat infertility due to PCOS diagnosed deficiency of kidney and blood stasis syndrome has a certain prospect, it is necessary to further study mechanism of this method.
