Object: Systematic evaluation of clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine in the treatment of Graves ophthalmopathy Methods:Collecting the Literature studies of clinical randomized controlled trials of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine and Western medicine in the treatment of Graves ophthalmopathy which published in China during December 2016-December 1986,through computer and manual retrieval. Then screened then in accordance with the inclusion, exclusion criteria until selectted the documents to meet the requirements. The literature quality was evaluated by the Cochrane collaboration net system evaluation manual and using software SPSS23.0 to analyze medication regularity. Results:This study selected 21 into standard documents, included in the study sample size of 1262 cases, including 665 people in the trial group and control group of 597 people. The Meta analysis results: total effective rate of the RR value=1.48,95 % CI(1.37,1.60),RR hypothesis test Z=9.93,P<0.00001,suggesting that integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of Graves ophthalmopathy effect is superior to western medicine;FT4:SMD=-0.25,95%Cl(-0.43,-0.07),Overall effect test Z=2.70,P=0.007<0.05,suggesting that themethod of integrated traditionalChinese and Western medicine in the treatment of Graves ophthalmopathy is superior to western medicine in the improve of FT4;Exophthalmos score :SMD=-0.86,95%Cl(-1.21,-0.50),Overall effect testZ=4.74,P<0.00001,suggesting that the method of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of Graves ophthalmopathy is superior to western medicine in the score of Exophthalmos;Vision score:SMD=0.40,95%Cl(0.10,0.70),Overall effect testZ=2.58,P=0.01<0.05,suggesting that themethod of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of Graves ophthalmopathy is superior to western medicine in the score of Vision;CAS score: SMD=-1.22,95%Cl(-2.28,-0.17),Overall effect testZ=2.27,P=0.02<0.05,suggesting that themethod of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of Graves ophthalmopathy is superior to western medicine in the score of CAS;Safety analysis :OR=0.28,95 % CI(0.15,0.55),OR combination of hypothesis testZ=3.75,P=0.0002<0.5,the treatment group adverse reaction rate was10%,control group adverse reaction rate was 24%,suggesting that integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of Graves ophthalmopathy of adverse reaction rates are lower than those of western medicine group. Conclusion: integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of Graves ophthalmopathy is superior to western medicine in total effective rate?FT4?Exophthalmos ?vision ?CAS score and safety, the adverse reaction rate is lower than western medicine group, but have no significant difference in the improve of FT3 and TSH;Due to the search is not entirely into the literature, and lower in the quality of literature evaluation, the results can be reference is still questionable, there are still some limitations of this study.
