Summary: Chronic laryngeal Yin,common in the outpatient of the E.N.T department,is a kind of enduring disease featured in young voice or hoarseness,swollen laryngeal muscle membrane thickness,which belongs to the scope of Western Medicine in chronic laryngitis.The vocal polyps and nodules with the main symptom of hoarseness can also be conducted according to syndrome differentiation of chronic laryngeal yin.There is currently no ideal solution to the treatment of chronic laryngeal yin in Western Medicine.The methods mainly include the rest treatment emphasized on no talking,the anti-infective treatment with antibiotic,the anti-inflammatory treatment with glucocorticoid and local physical therapy etc.The patients who are in the middle and late stage of vocal hypertrophy and hyperplasia or who are complicated by the vocal nodules and polyps should be treated with surgery.The ones who have not talked to rest for a long time have poor compliance,as a result,the long term effects of hormone and surgical treatment is not stable and they are easy to have a relapse.Based on the syndrome differentiation and the holistic concept,the traditional Chinese medicine has a long history to treat this disease with rich theoretical and clinical experience accumulated,so it has certain advantages in the treatment.With the simple methods and smaller side effects,the cure rates can be improved and the relatively satisfied clinical effect can be acquired under accurate clinical differentiation and proper pharmacy.Therefore,it has been proved and received by more and more patients.Objective: The purpose is to study on the law of diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese Medicine through the collection and collation of the system literature and summed up the syndrome differentiation of chronic laryngeal Yin on the treatment and medication rules.It can provide reference for clinical prevention and treatment of the disease in order to further improve the clinical efficiency in treatment of chronic laryngeal Yin.Methods: Starting with the related ancient and modern documents of the syndrome differentiation of chronic laryngeal Yin,emphasizing on the treatment and drug law,this topic summarizes the basic understandings and concepts of this disease through the systematic summary of knowledge in the ancient documents which includes the disease history,etiology and pathogenesis.The use of China CNKI and Wanfang database is to collect modern clinical research literatures in recent 20 years from 1996 to 2016 years with "chronic laryngeal Yin" and "chronic laryngitis".Among these literatures,53 articles of basic prescription are selected and 30 books about the treatment of chronic laryngeal Yin have been looked up.The knowledge of this disease in modern documents has been collected through the sorting and summary of the above literatures and the research of the etiology and pathogenesis,syndrome differentiation,therapeutic method and medication characteristics.Finally,the comparative analysis of the results of ancient and modern are summarized,and then understandings and views are put forward to sum up the design scheme on the treatment of chronic laryngeal Yin syndrome.Research results: Chronic laryngeal Yin was first named by "aphonia " with little systematic researches in ancient times.At the beginning of 1980 s,the TCM disease name “Chronic laryngeal Yin” was promoted,the name "long laryngeal Yin” was also used at the same time.In modern Otolaryngology," chronic laryngitis " belongs to the category of such research.The vocal polyps and nodules can also refer to syndrome differentiation and treatment of chronic laryngeal yin.Ancient physicians and modern scholars generally believe that the main pathogenesis of chronic laryngeal Yin are lung,spleen,kidney,heart,four dirty imbalance of yin and Yang,Qi and yin deficiency,blood stasis and phlegm coagulation " are closely related.In addition,modern physicians also believe that it is closely related to pathological changes and the incidence of the disease in the liver.The related research of ancient physicians and modern physicians about the chronic laryngeal Yin are mainly from the following four aspects: lung and kidney yin deficiency,blood stasis and phlegm coagulation,qi stagnation and blood stasis,Qi deficiency of lung and spleen.In addition,there are some doctors put forward phlegm syndrome,Qi and Yin deficiency,qi stagnation and blood stasis and syndrome of deficiency of kidney yang.The treatment of Chronic laryngeal Yin is mainly for the purpose of kaiyin.It included the methods of nourishing lung and kidney,huo xue and hua tan,xing qi and huo xue,yi qi and jian pi,Relieving liver qi stagnation.The commonly used Chinese medicine for treatment of chronic laryngeal Yin included ancient and Modern.The ancient medicine have liquorice,angelica,Poria,Terminalia,ginseng,radix rehmanniae,ophiopogon root,Platycodon root,rehmannia,asparagus,gelatin,Fructus Mume,pinellia tuber,Schisandra chinensis,phellodendron,almond,and ginger.The modern medicine have Campanulaceae,licorice root,figwort,Fritillaria,safflower,peach wood,butterflies,red peony root,rehmannia,cicada,ophiopogon root,honeysuckle,angelica,bupleurum,Fructus aurantii,radix salviae miltiorrhizae,Radix Scutellariae,Pang Dahai,Terminalia chebula,Bombyx Batryticatus,Fructus Arctii and Radix Glehniae.Through literature study,this paper has put forward some suggestions on the characteristics of the disease,chronic laryngeal yin,disease pathogenesis and transformation of pathogenesis.Lung and kidney deficiency,lung and spleen qi deficiency,qi stagnation and blood stasis,phlegm were thought to be the major pathogenesis of this disease.The clinical syndrome of chronic laryngeal Yin is on the whole concept of traditional Chinese medicine under the guidance of the viscera meridian theory as the theoretical basis,fully absorbed the advanced medical technology and methods to achieve the combination of disease and syndrome differentiation,local syndrome differentiation and integral syndrome differentiation,combined internal and external treatment combination.we can firstly distinguish the actual situation through the voice and throat muscle membrane to pay attention to the identification and syndrome of clinical thinking.It designed the four main syndromes of differentiation treatment program and proposed to combine the modern pharmacology of Chinese medicine drug ingenious ideas.It
