| Purpose:Based on Chinese medicine overall perspective, this research studies how Director Lin Ping makes use of related theories of five internal organs to diagnose and cure functional indigestion. It analyzes and records Director Lin’s clinical experience of using an approach created by himself aiming at integrating internal organs and chi to adjust prescription according to patients’ complication and main symptoms.Method:This thesis analyzes and studies Director Lin’s nine theses on functional indigestion, combines observation of Director Lin’s clinical experience and studies of similar cases, and records his approach of integrating internal organs and chi to adjust prescription according to patient’s complication and main symptoms in an effort to summarize Director Lin’s Chinese medicine overall perspective of functional indigestion.Result:(1) Recognition of illness based on Chinese medicine overall perspective. It’s Symptoms may be found in the heart, stomach, liver and other internal organs, but the most basic causes are in the spleen, liver and stomach.(2) A consistent approach of integrating the five internal organs.(3) Creation of integrating internal organs and chi, bringing Chinese medicine overall perspective into full play.(4) Adjustment of prescription according to patient’s main symptoms and complications.(5) Emphases on balancing, stressing overall balance between organs.(6) Flexible use of medicine of mild nature, not too spicy, not too bitter.(7) Combination of both internal and external use of medicine, making full use of Chinese clinical medicine.(8) Light diets with easily digestible food, eating less but more often.(9) Emphasis of curing illness and maintaining health at the same time.(10)Encouraging good daily habits in order to achieve better organ functions and chi.Conclusion:(1) Director Lin Ping diagnoses and cures Functional dyspepsia, basing on Chinese medicine overall perspective and using related five internal organs theories. He lays stress on grasping the basic pathogenesis and integrating the five internal organs.(2) His basic approach of integrating internal organs and chi to adjust prescription meets the ideal of curing functional indigestion.(3) His emphases on balancing, using mild medicine, light diets, combing good daily habits are of better clinical significance to functional indigestion. |
