Clinical Study Of Qingfei Huatan Decoction Combined With Routine Treatment Of Western Medicine In The Treatment Of Pneumonia In Child (Phlegm Heat Obstructing The Lung)

Objective:Based on qingfei huatan decoction of addition and subtraction,combind with conventional western medicine,to observe the clinical effic-iency of combined treatment of pneumonia in child(phlegm heat obstructing the lung).Methods:In this study,the research object was children who were hospitalized in the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hebei Province from March 2014 to October 2015.There were 60 cases.They meet the Western diagnostic criteria of pneumonia in child and belong to the TCM syndrome differentiation of phlegm heat obstructing the lung.They were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,and 30 cases in each group.The control group was given conventional western medicine as antiviral,anti-inflammatory and symptomatic treatment.The treatment group was given conventional treatment of Western medicine and Qingfei Huatan Decoction.A course of treatment was 7 days.Observe the changes of two groups before and after the treatment in the total clinical efficiency,total score of TCM symptoms,main symptoms and signs points,secondary symptoms and signs points.Results:1 The comparison of total clinical efficiency:In the treatment group,19 cases were cured,7 cases were excellence,4 cases were utility and 0 cases were nutility,the total effective rate is 100%,the healing rate is 86.6%.In the control group,7 cases were cured,9 cases were excellence,14 cases were utility and 0 cases were nutility,the total effective rate is 100%,the healing rate is 53.3%.By statistical analysis,there were statisticant differences between the two groups(P<0.05),the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.2 The comparison on the total score of TCM symptoms between the two groups:By statistical analysis,the results show that the difference between the two groups before treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05).It shows that the two groups has no significant difference before treatment.After the treatment,the comparison on the total score of TCM symptoms has statistically significant in and between the groups,and the score of the treatment group is lower than the control group.This shows that the treatment group was better than the control group.3 The comparison on the changes in main symptoms and signs points:By statistical analysis,the result has no statistical significance between two grups before treatment(P>0.05).This shows that the two groups had no significant difference before treatment.After treatment,the result has statistical signifycance in two grups.Between the two groups,the result has statistical significance in improving the cough,sputum,lung auscultation(P<0.05).The score of the treatment group in the cough,sputum,lung auscultation is lower than the control group.This shows that the treatment group is better than the control group in improving the cough,sputum,lung auscultation.The result has no statistical significance between two grups after treatment in defervescence(P>0.05).This shows that the result has the same effect between two grups in defervescence.4 The comparison of the changes in secondary symptoms and signs points:By statistical analysis,the result was no statistical significance between two grups before treatment(P>0.05).This shows that the two groups had no significant difference before treatment.After the treatment,the result has statistical significance in and between two grups in improving dry stool,urine yellow symptoms and chest X-ray(P<0.05).And the score of the treatment group in the dry stool,urine yellow symptoms and chest X-ray is lower than the control group.This shows that the treatment group is better than the control group in improving dry stool,urine yellow symptoms and chest X-ray.Conclusions:The effects of qingfei huatan decoction combinrd with conventional western medicine in the treatment of pneumonia in child(phlegm heat obstructing the lung)is better than only use western medicine in improving total clinical effect,total score of TCM symptoms,scores of clinical symptoms and sings.This shows that on the basis of conventional western msdicine combined the traditional Chinese medicine has obvious advantages.And it provides a new treatment for clinical treatment of the disease.
