In recent years, with the rapid development of our country economy and the improvement of people's living standards, the people's attention to the health of the body has been growing day by day, leading to an increasing number of visitors in most domestic hospitals, which is far beyond the carrying capacity of the hospital itself. At present, the "three long and one short" phenomenon is widespread in most medical institutions in our country that in the process of treatment, registration, charging and taking medicines takes a long time while doctor time is short.In order to improve their competitiveness, hospitals must have a unique management model and their own innovation, making patients have a more effective and humanistic treatment process.In this article in line with the "patient-centered" service concept and combined with their own business situation, A hospital found out the link in need of improvement in the existing treatment process and proposed the corresponding improvement measures. It determined the optimization scheme for outpatient service process using the Business Process Improvement(BPI), staff incentive theory and the information technology. In the next ten years, A hospital will push forward the construction of the digital medical work comprehensively,develop electronic medical records actively and integrate the original charges, registration window which existed separately and independently so that visitors can choose any line which has fewer people for registration or payment.In order to change the patient waiting chaos in the past, A hospital will also use the intelligent terminal service station, making the waiting area become orderly. In the future A hospital plans to realize the query service of self-help registration, payment, inspection and test results, push forward the residents health card and simplify the increment medical link to improve patients satisfaction for the hospital.This topic took A hospital as the research object, describing a series of effective method to explore the reform of hospital business process since puting forward the concept of process optimization clinics. According to the theoretical analysis, we summarized and concluded the practical experience and put forward some further development suggestions about the optimization of hospital business process in the future. The change of hospital management mode reduced unnecessary waiting for the link in the process of medical treatment and improved effective rate of the treatment of the doctor and the core competitiveness of the hospital. At the same time, corresponding to the goal of medical system reform in our country, the optimization of business process in this topic conformed to the development direction of medical reform and also provided valuable experience for other hospitals which will plan the business process reengineering.
