The Application Of Business Process Reengineering In Hospital Medical Equipment Management

With the development of our social economy and the deepens of our medical care system reform, people'need for medical health increase highly. And medical services are revolting to market gradully, so the medical service mode formed in the long-term era of the planned economy needs to reform urgently. This require administrators of modern hospital to change their idea from"medical-centered"to"customer-centered",and strengthen the hospital's operation management earnestly.In the building of modern hospital, medical equipment are modern tools for medical checkups and treatment of hospitals and they guarantee the medical, educational and research work in normal operation conditions. In a certain sense, wether general hospitals or specialised hospitals, profit hospitals or non-profit ones, medical equipment can be a direct reflection of the scale of the hospital, modernization degree and treatment level. Therefore, the management of medical equipment are attracting increasing attention, and it is becoming an important component of modern hospital operation management. The author is against the problems lied in medical equipment management of modern hospital ,and combined with his actual experience worked in hospital department of medical equipment ,by drawing on business process reengineering concepts and methods, adgust the business processes of some departments with more medical equipments. On this basis, unreasonable structure of the organization is changed. and business processes meet modern hospital management law and customer's demand is set up, and the medical services chain with humanized service characteristics is created.
