Bacteria of the genus Brucella cause disease primarily in domestic, feral and some wild animals and most are also pathogenic for humans. In animals, brucellae typically affect the reproductive organs, and abortion is often the only sign of the disorder. Human brucellosis is either an acute febrile disease or a persistent disease with a wide variety of symptoms. It is a true zoonosis in that virtually all human infections are acquired from animals. The disease is controlled by the routine practice of pasteurizing milk and milk products, as well as by comprehensive campaigns to eradicate the disease by destroying domestic animals which exhibit positive serologic reactions to brucellae. Vaccines providing some protection to cattle, sheep and goats are available.In this study, in 2007~2014 years of epidemiological survey of brucellosis in Bovine and sheep in Xinjiang Aletai region, we collected 429940 bovine serum and 343798 Sheep serum. Using RBPT and SAT, Tow kinds of different serological detecting method, results show that, Bovine brucellosis and sheep brucellosis were all prevalent obviously increased by years. Between the tow anamals brucellosis, bovine brucellosis was more severs. 3.04%(2404/79181) of Bovine were affected brucellosis In 2012.The highest seroprevalence among the investigation in sheep respectively 1.17%(209/17869) and 1.02%(676/66595).In 2014, we used RBPT and GICA detecting method to investigating the Epidemiological Survey of Bovine and sheep Brucellosis in Buerjin District. The results show that, 1539 bovine serum and 1897 Sheep serum were deceting by RBPT, and the seroprevalence in bovine and sheep respectively 1.56%(24/1539)and 1.58%(30/2897). 12345 bovine serum and 9926 Sheep serum were deceting by GICI, and the seroprevalence in bovine and sheep respectively 1.43%(177/12345)and1.65%(164/9926). Among the three regions by detecting, brucellosis were highest Epidemiologic in Woyimoke region.The results of this study will provide experimental basis for future effective control of brucellosis in Xinjiang.
