In recent years,the measurement industry is booming,and the application of surveying and mapping instruments in various industries is more and more widely.Especially since twenty-first century,China's development is change rapidly,many large projects have sprung up,the national defense science and technology development speed is also a thousand li a day.With the construction of more and more large-scale,digital,intelligent,in the process of engineering construction,the construction of the building surface features,pipeline layout,intelligent installation and other databases is becoming increasingly important.The engineering database data is huge,how to establish the database accurately and effectively,how to make the technical staff to quickly and efficiently extract the contents of the database is becoming more and more important.In view of the traditional way of measuring low efficiency,personnel demand,measurement data reflect singly,people feel more and more that in the information age there must have a new mapping method to replace the traditional measurement methods.With the continuous improvement of the level of science and technology,the acquisition of three-dimensional spatial data is becoming more and more diversified,such as GPS,Photogrammetry,3D laser scanning technology and so on are the new breakthroughs in the field of Surveying and mapping.3D laser scanning measurement is a new measurement method in a variety of high-tech in one,the 3D measured point cloud data can obtained the surface features of objects,and processing in the computer can quickly and intuitively use for technical staff.Firstly,the 3D laser scanner and its measuring principle are introduced,and based on the application of 3D laser scanner in the production and life,put forward to different measurement environment should adopt the point cloud based on different methods in the application process.Of course,before the 3D laser scanner,we should first understand the work of the scanning precision,this paper sums up the key factors affecting the 3D laser scanner error,and to summarize the experiences and shortcomings of the previous verification error: 3D laser scanner with Total station as the evaluation criteria,test results are not accurate and the disadvantages of tedious verification process the electronically controlled displacement platform,as the measurement error evaluation standard calibration of 3D laser scanner.Then,through indoor and outdoor tests,by the control of different experimental variables,its feasibility in the verification of 3D laser scanner errors was verified through using the electric displacement platform respectively,and the verification of Leica Scanstation 2 3D laser scannerand Riegl VZ-400 3D laser scanner is not consistent with the nominal accuracy.The experimental results show that the electronic controlled displacement table can quickly,accurately and effectively detect the error of 3D laser scanner.Finally,by using the Leica scanstation 2 3D laser scanner slope deformation monitoring data,by measuring the results of total station and level,to get the Leica scanstation 2 3D laser scanner values accord with the indoor Leica scanstation 2 3D laser scanner test results.
