In recent years, under the social background of the trend of economic globalization and the pattern of the world multi-polarization, China is gradually moving the key period of social transformation, various social contradictions complex, crisis events emerge in an endless stream, public psychology also subsequently mixed with a variety of anxiety and panic. Fully understanding the characteristics of the domestic crisis events during the transition period, based on audience psychology dialysis of Chinese television media to help governments effectively and timely stability crisis situation, pacify, give full play to the effect of the spread of television media’s crisis coverage, a future period of time, the TV media in China is facing a major challenge.TV crisis report success, concerning the success or failure of a crisis, affect social stability and harmony.This paper chooses over the years, the typical case of TV media crisis reporting analysis, research, combining communication theory, consists of six chapters: First, by combing the existing related research works, literature, this paper outlines the practical significance of this study, and a brief description of the basic methods used in research, the focus of research and the innovation of this study. Secondly, to clarify the audience and the audience psychological crisis, and crisis communication concepts and characteristics, summed up the basic principles of crisis report. Again, combined with the recent crisis reporting case, analyzing the existing problems of TV media crisis report in China. Then, based on the problems existing in China’s TV media crisis reporting, this study discusses the root causes of the problem. Finally, it puts forward the corresponding improvement strategies for the shortcomings of the domestic crisis report.
