To analysis Inner Mongolia’s image in TV Travel Programs, I use text and data analysis along with quantitative as research methods in this thesis., Those samples involved 25 columns of TV travel program which includes 153 phases, during the past six years from 2009 to 2015 containing Chinese mainland, Chinese Taiwan, Britain and so on. And sum up the image of Inner Mongolia combined with the development and actual needs, among TV travel programs showed Inner Mongolia.By analyzing the research of program samples, this paper summarizes the characteristics and problems of the image of Inner Mongolia. At first, Inner Mongolia’s travel resources are rich, but the time to show it on TV is not balanced. Second, the image of Inner Mongolia in TV travel program is single and shows backward. Third, the CCTV pays more attention to construct the mordent image of Inner Mongolia. Fourth, almost all the programs only spread within Chinese mainland, but not much in other areas. Fifth, the program involves richly relative, but not balanced. Sixth, doesn’t use the TV travel program to built tourism brand. Seventh, the subject of involved areas of Inner Mongolia, the main event and the disseminator of the program comes anisotropic. Eighth, haven’t made good use of TV travel programs to enhance the growth rate of tourism revenue. Comparisons with the actual situation, the corresponding solutions are put forward:to improve the stereotype image of Inner Mongolia must pay more attention to Inner Mongolia’s propaganda, the different period of time for distribution program, and the media linkage. Always pay attention to cooperate with other provinces and cities, use movie and TV drama strengthen the publicity. Use different themes to propagate the image of Inner Mongolia; use the TV Travel program to hit tourism brand, and the slogan of places. Balance the tourism programs, and use the TV Travel Program to improve the tourism industry of Inner Mongolia.
