A Reflection On The Prominence Of Serviceability In Travel Program Creation

As the rapid development of travel industry drives the transformation of tourism concept, audience have greatly raised their demand and requirement for travel programs, and meanwhile travel programs have shown a trend of diversification. Among a variety of travel programs, service-oriented travel program has gradually become a focus of audience demand. Therefore, serviceability and practicability need to be taken as a main guidance on travel program creation.Walking Around the World is a self-produced travel program, which shows literary travel guide in video mode. The literary travel guide is originally detailed, but it looks more intuitive when being displayed in videos. A combination of their advantages in the program can help audience start a self-guided tour with no more help. Serviceability is stressed in the program, aimed primarily at providing audience with useful information, including itinerary,accommodation, food, matters needing attention, and scenic spot introduction.Based on Walking Around the World, this paper carried out a detailed analysis on whether serviceability should be highlighted in travel program creation from a perspective of program planning, shooting and editing, in hope of providing some new ideas for travel program creation. Generally speaking, service consciousness should be throughout travel program creation.For a travel program in which serviceability is highlighted, the planner should make creation with service at the core. Prominence can be given to serviceability in the aspect of shooting technique, scene selection, and host appearance during program shooting. The editing of a travel program is to finally present the program based on actual materials according to planning. The permutation and combination of various is the key to creation.
