With the rapid development of social economy and information technology, the public’s need for more comfortable daily living environment is increased. With the characteristics of the intelligent and diversification, the home appliance provides a possibility for the reality of the intelligent home life environment. With the character of portability, versatility and powerful processing capability, intelligent mobile terminal has become an important part for everyone, so using it as a unified control platform appliances will become the new trend of home control. In order to satisfy the user actual demand for home appliance control, this paper designs a system which includes equipment control, security alarm and energy consumption monitoring function. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1. The structure of smart home control system is designed, this system adopts the Internet of Things Technology(IOT) to construct equipment network which is composed of various intelligent home appliance and sensor equipment. Every part of the network is managed and organized by the IOT gateway. At the same time, to realize the home appliance control, this paper chooses the popular Android mobile device as the control terminal to establish direct or indirect communication with the IOT gateway. In order to satisfy the user actual demand for home appliance control from a long distance, this paper uses server as the hub between gateway and the remote control terminal, the requests from the remote terminal are forwarded to IOT gateway so as to achieve the purpose of remote control.2. The architecture of intelligent control terminal is designed. The terminal is the only window for uses to access to system service, so whether the application has a good user experience is an important index for evaluation. In interface design, this paper uses MVC framework to design the UI; in the aspect of application control, the multi touch technology is used to control the device; in the aspect of application adapter, the different levels of the resources to be applied to the device with different resolution. What is more, this paper uses the layout file to meet the different dimension of equipment.3. The architecture of server is designed. This paper regards Web Service technology as the information interaction between the server and intelligent control terminal, the technology has the advantages of low coupling, extensibility and convenience. The service requesters call the interface which packaged by Web Service format to get the service.4. Web GIS has been studied. Web GIS is a product of the traditional geographical information system combined with internet technology, it can provide the user more convenient geographic information service. In order to allow users to have a more intuitive understanding of the internal structure of the family, this paper uses Arc GIS to realize this function. Through the graphical mode, the user can view the geographic and real time states about the appliance and sensor equipment in the home furnishing environment. At the same time, the GIS space data model, data transmission and switch algorithm between coordinate system in GIS module are described specifically.
