Under "Uses And Gratifications" Minority Region Of Western Perspective Internet Communication Behavior Of Women

Due to its powerful influence, Internet has changed the way of life style and thinking mode for peoples regardless of their places, sex, age and nationality, and thus rewrites the historical evolution.The current Internet-using behavior was investigated for the female Internet users in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture. The paper mainly focused on the quantity investigation of the female Internet-user, the preference classification for collecting information, and the capability evaluation for comprehensively utilizing the Internet information by the interview, questionnaire survey and literature search methods. Meanwhile, the dissemination of Internet information was analyzed for finding out the dissemination obstacles, the forming reasons and the solving measures. Some of the results show that the Internet users in Xiangxi urban area increase apparently and the female users with the most network access time and maximum frequency are consisted of the state-run institutions in recent five years. Their main content on the Internet are to study and shop, etc., indicating that the urban Internet users have a strong urge to improve the quality of life. In contrast, the female Internet users in Xiangxi suburbs increase slowly and their main objective for Internet is to communicate with the relatives. It indicates that the rural rear-support women and children are in a worrying situation. The paper aims to propel efficiently the dissemination of Internet information for the women in Xiangxi area and enhance both the trust and relationship between the minority nationality and the government. The paper is of theoretical significance and reference value in the terms of improving the comprehensive quality of the female minority nationality and preventing the unexpected events of the minority nationality’s group.
